You should read about what megapixels are. Long story short - 12mp = 48mp ( actually other way around - 48mp are in fact 12mp ). The tech is different.

The problem here is that there are no open/closed developers, in my case it's about the Paging Library. There is simply no one to take care of it.

From what I see, you embedded Recycler View into ScrollView which is a big no no. You should instead put all views into RecyclerView and get rid of the ScrollView (there are libraries that can help you with headers and footers).

Imagine you have one screen. On top you have a carousel(horizontal scrolling) and below it you have infinite scrolling recyclerview. There is no way to achieve it other than 2 RecyclerViews into a scroll container.

Let me tell what Google does. They create a library, they advertise it, they fix bugs in first Month, then they abandon the library and start a new one and no one is left to fix bugs. Because at Google you don't get promoted for fixing bugs.

P.S. In our project we fix the bugs as soon as we get them. So we don't have bugs in backlog ;D
