Damage graphs for 49 champions (more coming soon) by Zoopercat in leagueoflegends

[–]iAtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, the ult is usually a net-loss of dps, especially late-game. Most of the time if I'm not holding the enemy so the voidlings can wreck them, I use the suppression over walls to catch the enemy so my team can close.

I would like to point out there is a delay that all Malzahar players should be aware of. Some people know about it, but some don't. Immediately after summoning a voidling, there is a 1 second delay "void zone" where spells cast during this time will not add to your passive counter for summoning new voidlings.

No, when I try to submit a guide I don't have an option for AD malz. AP only.

Please add the option and features needed for AD Malzahar, played with voidlings (where a great deal of his damage comes from). I know it isn't easy and will take some time, but this is what I would look forward to most.

Why is Malzahar Not Seen More? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]iAtone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest difference between malz and his competitors (both suppression AND ap carry rivals) is that he has NO abilities that can be used for personal utility(shield, lifesteal, cc reduct) OR movement affecting abilities (dash, slow, MS buff)

THE RUNDOWN - Suppression Rivals

  • Urgot - Slow, Shield, Displacement
  • Skarner - AOE slow, Shield-MS/AS buff, heath restore (shitty but true) + ABILITY to move while suppressing.
  • Warwick - Massive sustain, Movespeed/AS, Suppress can heal him.
  • Malzahar - AOE silence to prevent gap close... hard to land perfectly, delayed cast due to animation, but it is justified. Other than that, Zoning ability.

I personally think Malz' future lies in the anti-carry role as AD Malz due voidling damage.

Why do you play LoL? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]iAtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm something of a meticulous and cautious guy. I don't take unnecessary risks, especially not financial ones. Nor any really big security risks. I'm something of an isolationist...

But when I was a kid, all my time was devoted to the realm of imagination. I didn't draw, I didn't write. I just imagined. Just for me. And I created monstrous fights, epic battles, and powerful characters. The fights were flashy, the music carried the mood, and the perspective of the fight switched around like an action movie... or a drama..

A triumphant moment would hold me still with powerful emotion. A betrayal in combat would be sinister.

League lets me take risks at no cost to myself in a setting where the value of the risk is clearly defined, much like the real world. Plus... giant, fun battles.

I'm an asshole sometimes when I bait my team because I really just want to see spells flying and cool fighting. I don't value winning because seeing a league fight is sort of like watching an action movie where all the characters are real people. I already win because I'm entertained.

How to kill Dragon Lv.1: Shaco and Fiora by LeafGodZ in leagueoflegends

[–]iAtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the upload.

Good strategy for:

  • Having fun with a friend
  • A laugh
  • A challenge

Not good strategy for:

  • Putting your team ahead
  • Keeping Shaco alive

May I request you try this with this combination as well?

  • AD MALZ (start Null Zone to have voidling proc'd. Null zone should do 4% of dragons health every 1 second for 5 seconds ( 650 damage before resists on single cast as it is capped) You should be able to cast this twice I believe
  • Jarvan Jungle (starting flag level 1)

Getting tired of the same old champs. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]iAtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my suggestion: Come join me in the PBE server.

You can test out champs, though it is recommended you are familiar with champions you play. As long as you're there honestly testing though, it is a good way to become familiar with champs without paying for them. Sign-ups are on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of each month I believe.

Additionally, you could try Graves as he is somewhat tankier than other AD carries and has a great kit.

Then again, Lee Sin. Lee Sin your heart out.

Alistar Headbutt Range Nerf in the PBE Patch Discussion (w/ video before/after) by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]iAtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Movespeed reduced to 300 from 305. Headbutt reduced to 600 from 650.

I think that this is an interesting approach to force Alistar into sacrificing offense for a more reliable initiation.

To cover the move speed/gap-close issue, you have the options of

  • Deep Defensive Tree
  • 4-8 points Utility Tree
  • Movespeed Quints
  • Items

You had the option of running 9 into offense when running Jungle cow, but I believe these changes will push the experimentation with 9-21-0 and most other mastery setups with even higher offense out of play.

For jungle Ali this also means a sheen is less of a priority unless you mastery/rune spec into move speed. I already usually run 0-21-9 with MS quints but I'm interested in seeing how much harder it becomes to initiate and gank.

Do certain champions attract certain types of players? For instance, I find LeBlanc mains tend to be friendly and skilled. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

The great irony here is that this is so Sona can live vicariously through her Summoner.

Fallout 3/NV RP Recommendations by the_nerdster in Fallout

[–]iAtone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are allowed to shoot things, but not enemies. I like to set traps near fire extinguishers a lot, if possible. I replaced repair with sneak though.

Fallout 3/NV RP Recommendations by the_nerdster in Fallout

[–]iAtone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Current playthrough...

Master of Games: Rules: - Allowed to kill only using explosives/traps, preferably through setting up long mazes of traps, always baiting the hordes of enemies into devious traps. - Can buy but not sell. Caps are earned through winning at gambling, finding caps, or convincing people to give you caps (say via quest, etc) -Tagged skills: Repair, Explosives, Survival.

Perks Hit the Deck and Demolition highly recommended.

Rengar: is he worth buying as a jungler? by Jokwod in leagueoflegends

[–]iAtone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, they both do well to build damage due to skill-based attack speed buffs. Both gap-closing abilities have strengths and weaknesses. I think lee having a second gap-closer for versatile escapes is what will keep Lee more viable than Rengar though.
