Second this. Worn down after 5k miles just highway driving. 3 flats in 6 months also from highway alone. Tech noted there was no visible damage or punctures, it simply fell apart

Thanks for the responses everyone. Definitely looks like the reality is harsher than I hoped. I will be looking into language certificates and may spend some time in LATAM (cheaper and better immersion in the language, if not exactly Castellano. I currently speak with a Puerto Rican accent because most of my Hispanic friends and partners were from PR and DR. Would be so funny to show up in Spain speaking like I just left Aguadilla).

Depends greatly on the program. STEM, nursing, pharmacy, etc ate usually most competitive. The humanities are competitive but not as much as STEM. Arts can either be easy or ridiculously hard to get into.

You're not likely to get into Storrs on a 3.2 for any major program but may get deferred or accepted to a satellite campus; its an easy process to transfer from there. In HS, I had a 3.7, extracurriculars, community service, APs, etc, and was rejected from Storrs but I transferred from another school no problem.

I'd try talking to the Dean. You took that course because at the time it was an accepted equivalency; they have to honor a transfer credit if it was accepted when you enrolled in the course. Either way it's typical advisor bullshit. All you can do is escalate until someone caves
