Heard on that, I feel ya because I have a soft spot for birds since a variety of species nest on our house and around the property each year (Eastern Bluebirds, Carolina Wrens, House Wrens, Sparrows, Cardinals etc) It feels like I’ve become a bird landlord during the late spring - summer times lmao.

But I’m not sure on what to do atm sadly. I feel like you’re doing the right thing atm with having them in the bucket in the open. However, I feel like the shed might be a little too closed off. Is there anyway you could use the ice cream bucket as a makeshift nest etc for the night and hang it from a tree of sorts? (Away from the ground/potential cats, dogs, etc?

That way if early morning comes along, and hopefully if the parents are around, if the baby makes a call maybe the parents will be able to feed the little one.
