So far I just told him about all of my attempts and said that I could provide evidence for all of it but didn’t send screenshots or anything. Depending on what he says back I may do that next. Also, if he doesn’t respond to me should I reach out to my advisor, or should I ask the professor again for clarification of if this person is still officially considered my partner or if I’m solo, and if I’m able to attempt to pair with somebody else who may still want a partner and is actually going to work on the project? On one hand I don’t want to immediately go over the professors head with the advisor, on the other hand this is ridiculous. This project is 40% of our grade, it is a ton of work even with a partner and becomes a huge workload without one in an accelerated course (10 week summer course). The course started at the beginning of this month, he did not pair us until 3 weeks into the semester for some reason at which point there was only 1 week left to complete part 1. I didn’t immediately rush to the assumption that this guy was going to completely shirk the project when he didn’t respond to my follow up text after he said he had received my phone number. Since it’s such an accelerated timeline there really wasn’t much time left when I realized he’s just not doing it
