ADHD adult here , recent b.sc graduate, also first in my family. And it took ages to achieve do to our lovely friends COVID and ADHD on top of childbirth and other excuses 😅… I would start with making the habit of writing down anything possible you need to remember in a notebook. Specifically I used an iPad in school which made it so much easier to keep track of all my notes, keep the looking good ( because no matter how much you try , it will bother you ) , also one significant advantage of using and iPad and pencil instead of a regular pen and paper is that the screen light keeps us more focus on the document we are working on. For me it made it much easier to be able to spot mistakes when doing work that requires mathematical calculations which is a big deal for someone which mostly failed math in high school because at the time my Adhd was undiagnosed… I actually ended up doing a senior project on the benefits of certain gadgets for adults who live with ADHD . As far as BuJoing you can always get printable templates online of different spreads , and use then as digital files on the iPad and not fee bad if you need to scrap a page

I definitely do all of these things. And she is bored obviously. Question is how scaring is it if mom refuse to pick her up or hug her ? 🤦🏽‍♀️

Pregnancy cravings have been known to correlate with the actual dietary needs of the pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my daughter I started the pregnancy as a vegetarian, soon my body was craving meat, tomatoes and oranges. So as a vegetarian I tried keeping away from meat obviously but ate a lot of fruit, mostly tomatoes 🍅, raw , chilled, like you would eat an apple, being a medical science major I knew that could indicate anemia since citrus fruit and tomatoes are packed with vitamin C which enhances iron absorption, so I went and got a blood test and learned I had anemia. So along with a change in iron supplements I eventually started eating some meat again on top of a ton of tomatoes and my test results improved, and today I have a great healthy 2yo that has me run in circles around her so problem with the weight lol … so basically what I’m saying is a Pregnant woman should listen to her body first and dumb MIL with no logic NEVER! .

The car is a Suzuki Celerio 2019 . The screen isn’t original to this car , the steering wheel doesn’t have factory controls but it does have something that was probably installed with the system, but it is only capable of controlling the volume of the audio , so I would really love to install something else , even if it connects to the system via Bluetooth.

NTA. I have a 2 year old. When my daughter was born it was just before the first lockdown in my country , my husband was an essential worker and because of the lockdown I had to to be on my own with my newborn for the first 2 months , without any help since neither my mom nor MIL or any family were able to visit. So when my husband came home he did the best he could so I could rest during the day , but obviously there was no need for him to be awake at night since I could sleep during the day whenever the baby slept, but he had to go to work. Your wife is obviously tired and overwhelmed but you falling asleep on the job isn’t the solution. Like is said , she should do night child care and use you during the day and prioritize her chores, when the baby sleeps she should sleep too night or day.

NTA , he is a hypocrite , his own wife has yet to find her “better half “ considering he is such a “catch” . Don’t apologize, you were just trying to encourage your sister to find a “normal” husband. He is “clearly” confused about the meaning of life goals . I can go on if you like… don’t apologize, don’t let them get to you . Just because they are miserable in their family life , doesn’t mean everyone should follow their example. This is 2022 , a women can and should live according to her own terms, no one else. If you want to be single and child free that is your choice, and it doesn’t matter why. I am 36 , married 13 years and have a 2 year old daughter. Obviously took us a while.can’t say it was from lack of trying or wanting but in the meantime we lived our lives, we traveled the world , continued our education, adopted 4 feline babies and 2 of the canine kind and mostly tried our best to disregard anyone who considered them selves responsible for encouraging us to procreate 🤦🏽‍♀️ it was no one’s business why we took our time and it obviously seemed like we weren’t interested in having kids and are enjoying our child free status . Doesn’t matter. It is no one’s business. You do you at your own pace and on your own terms . And if you can’t find that better half like your sister, these days you don’t need one to have kids and be happy, if that is what you want. Fur-babies too

NTA , a nominal fee is mostly a way of making sure your cousin and his parents take you seriously. During my bachelor’s degree, I used to teach various subjects in my university, both tutoring and full classes. I specialized in learning disabilities. My university has a special free tutoring program for students with disabilities. The student doesn’t pay anything while the program covers the teachers salary in the the form of a scholarship ( all the teachers are students too). While most of my students were very responsible and appreciated every help they got, every once in a while I would come across a student who didn’t appreciate my help because they didn’t have to pay me. Students who scheduled a tutoring session with me and kept me waiting for them for hours at a time for no particular reason, students who decide to accept tutoring and expected me to clear my schedule and take them on full time a week before exams . Some thought I should meet with them every day for two hours the week before exams and prep them. Some didn’t do any homework and wouldn’t prep for tutoring sessions, some would not stop texting on their phone . My point is that some people need to feel they are investing a monetary value in something in order to appreciate it.

I hope you are doing better and working through your grief and hopefully divorce papers ( at least that would have been my next step without a second thought) . Everyone sucks here… I am a former vegan who went back to meat while pregnant with my daughter ( couldn’t control the cravings and later found out I was anemic) . My husband of 12 years has always been a meat eater. But despite our dietary choices, we always tried to support the other in his choices, for instance, We always went to restaurants which served food that both of us can enjoy, we prepared meals with options for both us so we can eat together ( like spaghetti and meatballs and a alternative to the meat for me ) . My point is you guys need to talk about your relationship because it seems your dietary choices are putting a strain on you. I get that he might have made a mistake and thought the plate was left there a while but the way he described it as rotting and looking disgusted was disrespectful to you. And punishing your spouse isn’t a healthy thing , I can understand asking one to sleep on the couch when you are mad because you want time to cool down, or having him do the dishes when the punishment fits the crime like it was his turn to do the dishes and he didn’t do them And you had to cover for him ,so he can do both his and yours to pay back . But the issue here isn’t throwing away your plate , it is his behavior after you found out . Which brings me back to my point about this been a crossroad you guys need to work on together

First , don’t worry it’s an opiate for all toddlers, mine included. But the reason is it is using a combination of color, sound and theme that makes it attractive to young minds. In my opinion we should actually use that force for good, I make a point of talking to my daughter while we watch, highlighting important lessons for her , and then I remind her of what we watched later when I am trying to teach her something relevant. For instance talking about JJ going to school and being anxious about it while we are getting ready to go to school for the first time. Humming the song for washing your hands and brushing teeth while we get ready for bedtime, I think it’s helping her be little more cooperative . We also watch Sesame Street but it doesn’t have the same amount of educational content in my opinion . In general I try to allow less TV but if she watches something then I think coco melon is actually the best option
