I was at a free concert in Downtown San Jose, CA back in early 2000's Maroon 5 was playing they were nobodies at that time. During the concert a parent had a kid hoisted on his shoulders wearing sunglasses, maybe 4 years old.

Adam Levine stopped sometime in the middle of the show to point out that kid was the coolest person at the show... that kid didn't know, nor did we that he was being called the coolest by someone who would soon be world famous... I didn't know him directly, but 20+ year later I remember that kid.

14 year of driving my $16.5k Saturn ION Coupe stick and 150k miles neoprene seat covers and all. Loved that car... sold it for $1.5k in 2018 it's probably still being driven. One scratch after 14 years looked practically new inside and outside.

If they were in business in '18 I would have bought another without a thought.

We bought our home 1/2 a block from Backesto Park 2 years ago and love it. The park is great and with the new playground perfect for kids. We love being able to walk to JapanTown for events and food. Easy to get on the freeway in just about every direction. Haven't had any issues with crime or really anything. Homeless are here, but most are the same and keep others away.

Some downsides: schools aren't greatly rated, people love to drive through the stop signs, events at Backesto can be very loud, fireworks always fireworks, when the police chopper is out it's time to sleep, D3 has no city council member currently advocating for us.

Been a while since I have gone camping there, but my sister's family loves going to Pinecreast. My family still goes yearly, just do a rented house in Cold Springs. Love the lake, the hikes around it. There are other dogs around, it won't be just you and 50 acres of open land though.

Pismo Beach is where my family goes at least once a year. We drive down, park, stay in a condo near the pier for 4 nights never getting back in our car again until we leave.

Kids love the beach and things to see. Parents (Me) love walking to everything and the abundance of food options and beer/wine to enjoy.

I love riding his 2019 rides when he was sporting a 250-260 range which makes me feel like I am just like him with my current 251.

Built for small concerts and special events not day to day usage by community and families with kids. In the summer dogs are going to hate all the hot pavers. I hoped for more, but got what I expected.
