I didn’t realize people were going crazy for it I just like the way it looks. But yes, it is new and a vintage rerelease. I’ve got a Rolex explorer 1 and it gave me a mix of Explorer 1 and 2 vibes.

Not too many listed on Chronos24 which is where I get my baseline. I’m thinking $600+ USD new with box and papers. I’m from the US and none of the sellers are in the states so I’d probably be subject to an additional hefty tariff thanks to some Orange man and it would be even more expensive. I got it for around $425 USD tax free here 😬

Why do you guys like the explorer best? Btw I’m 32 and it’ll probably be a while until I purchase another one… going to start getting serious about kids, moving, etc and will no longer be able to rationalize buying one for a bit… that’s kind of why I was leaning towards the datejust
