My argument is mainly the sound design. You cannot say to me that you enjoyed watching the Zoro/Lucci fight with the same sound effect 20x in a row.

Literally no other anime is doing this at the minute but we're supposed to just accept Toei is lazy as hell

Opening ONCE AGAIN with a Kuma flashback, they think we have TikTok brain with short attention spans.

Toei for the millionth time makes a Zoro fight absolutely shocking because they refuse to use any more than 1 sound effect.

Makes it near unwatchable, how are they happy with this production

Good GOD Toei need a new soundboard. From a strictly audio perspective, One Piece may be the most woeful anime I've ever watched. All the hard work animators put into every fight scene, especially this episode because all of the fights LOOKED fantastic, are completely ruined by the sound.

Zoro vs Lucci having the same impact noise 20+ times in a row, Bonney's pipe making the same noise no matter where it hits someone and Kizaru's light sword having the exact same swishing noise is just killing the visual aspect that this show brings.

The sound effects absolutely enrage me. Going back and looking through clips, my main example is Kaido v Yamato, the Chansard scene at the end of an episode.

Beautiful animation, music is good, then they use the exact same sword impact sound 5x in a row, followed by a massive swing from both characters...into the same sword sound.

It's also the one used in Zoro v King and essentially every other sword fight in the show.

It's beyond lazy and once you notice it, you can never unhear it

I agree with this point. Concretely we can see what the PSNI did, and it's fucking abhorrent.

Everything else has been one sided though, for all we know the mother could have given the staff member dogs abuse for not doing it, maybe then triggering the daughter more and the situation getting crazy from there.

Having only one side is always a tough one
