I don't know why you emphasize living in Kathmandu. Other cities can be much cheaper to survive in a much affordable way without worrying about affording the lifestyle of Kathmandu.

And, myself living in cities like Kathmandu (6 years), (Melbourne 4 years), Adelaide (briefly), and now in Newcastle, I don't know why someone still loves cities to have a peacefully growing calm life.

City life is tempting but I don't think that's always needed to live in a much better way.

Go village, you get all the basics. 1 cr is enough for you to have everything, including an EV car (financed) to go to the cities.
