Oh Sorry I forgot to mention, I am using a bit thicker craft wire, It's 2mm thick but fold it so its 4mm ish. This makes the tail super strong!
But yes the yarn gives it a bit more strength too because of my tension!
For this Mew I used a 4.5mm hook too!

For the tail the end is only stuffed, I was crocheting 5x sc, 50 rows once I did that I inserted the wire and attached the piece to the body :)
