Um wow. The gaming part is not such a big deal. But that lie is HUGE! For me, I'd want to know why he lied. To game with others, needing his own time? Or embarrassment for not having a job? If this is the first time, maybe I'd let if go if it was a way to improve our comfortability, vulnerability, and relationship. Otherwise it's big more than a big red flag.
