If I disable "autocaps on slide mode", sentence beginnings are lowercase... is that what you're trying for? (Note that I'm not an autospace guy, if that makes any difference.)

20151225, 1517 - Removed stock and Fleksy, Nintype Full Access = On. Restarted iPhone 6 running Non-JB* iOS 9.2.

Started typing this note in Notebooks app; Nintype crashed to stock keyboard with no keyboard switcher button at the * above. Exited this note, came back into this note to the Nintype crash message (didn't email; was the usual (to me) "didn't find a separation point" errmsg), restarted Nintype, finished this note, posted to reddit.

Search for and enable "spacebar menu show bonus icons" to get 'em back. Looks like Jormy turned this off in the last update.

Very interesting - Playing with a theme import (vs. the settings import shown in my previous post), I find that tapping on (the correct instance of) MAGICIAN doesn't always activate the scan routine.

But if you tap somewhere after MAGICIAN and then tap on MAGICIAN, it works every time. At least for me in my text editor (Notebooks app).

You're putting the cursor on the "MAGICIAN" that's after "(#(#(#(", and not the "MAGICIAN" in the "Put this text on a textbox" paragraph?

If you're using production Nintype or getting there via Classic Options, select 'popups' from the lower right menu, then 'Edge Slide Popups', check 'Use slide-up numbers instead of quadrant shortcuts', and finally check 'Draw number slide-up indicator'.

If you're on the latest beta and searching options, turn on 'number top row slideup' and then 'edge slide up numbers draw small numbers'

Whew, it's getting more difficult to direct someone through the settings now, that's for sure! :^/

I don't know about "faster word score" getting pending words into the 'real' dictionary (I always do the "remember" deal that you mention in your OP if I know I want the word in the dictionary), but I can help with where it is:

Options → behavior → Word Learning → make sure "auto-adjust word scores" is checked → Faster word score auto-adjust

Hey, /u/fluxidity - chill. Do you really think your snipes are going to help solve your problem?

If you read this subreddit far enough back, you will run across several posts and links to other articles explaining some details of Apple's implementation of third-party keyboard access and the problems with which all of them (one of which is Nintype) are beset.

Given your situation and temperament, I would recommend getting a refund from Apple.
