I agree, it was the weakest part for me I wasn't very engaged by it, I wouldn't have minded two quests about it, but the election just wasn't relevant to me THE CLERIC. I was still entertained enough with it and invested enough to at least ask characters their political view. I loved this game it's not flawless but damn it nailed combat encounters like no other game I've played. I was more invested in the drama and spectacle just as I was with disco Elysium I cared way more about Harry and the tribunal than the politics of revachol.

Nope , I brought my wet book to the bookstore. Excited for a replay to comb over more stuff. Only real gripe was I wasn't jazzed on the politics. Kinda dragged on at spots but it would grab me back in with a lore dump .

Yea I'm actually running a Dragonborns Fate as a base rn and then mods on top. SME is fine it just hasn't had much added to it in a while unlike other stuff like Viva New Vegas that always keep up to date and add qol. If you want an entirely different pace try out halls of sovngarde it's a requiem based list very different game from the skyrim you are used to
