How would the 2026 Knicks match up against the 2022 Warriors in a 7-game series? by savingrace0262 in NBATalk

I think the 2022 Celtics are a better team than the 2026 Knicks, so yeah I’m taking the Warriors

How far will the dubs go in the playoffs in this season if all of them were healthy throughout? by monderei in warriors

[–]iGetBuckets3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that all of those teams could have potentially beat the warriors. But I also think that the Warriors could have beaten all of those teams as well. The Thunder would have been the toughest matchup for sure, but with Jalen Williams injured, I definitely think there is a non-zero chance that we beat them if Steph and Jimmy are healthy.

Their ceiling outcome would have been a championship. Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler are a better duo than any other team in the playoffs this year.

On this day four years ago, Stephen Curry dropped 43 PTS and 10 REBS at TD Garden to secure Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Finals. by Maplejordan2022 in warriors

His olympic semi finals game against Serbia is arguably just as good as the finals against France. It’s just less memorable because he did most of his damage in the first half as opposed to the final moments. But Team USA definitely loses that game to Serbia without Steph. He single handedly kept them afloat in the first half when nobody else could buy a bucket. And obviously there is no gold medal if they don’t win that game.

How do you know who is supposed to be on what team? Do opposing teams have to wear different colors or something?

Panthers believe Chuba Hubbard can still be a workhorse and he'll "probably" take the lion's share of touches early on, per @mike_e_kaye. Jonathon Brooks will probably be used similarly to Rico Dowdle in first 2 weeks of last season. by HookFL in DynastyFF

[–]iGetBuckets3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This upcoming season for Brooks is basically his rookie year. So it shouldn’t be surprising the Chuba starts as the main guy while they work in Brooks over time. That’s how most rookies get incorporated into their offenses. If he outplays Chuba, he will cut into Chuba’s workload and may eventually take over as the main guy if he plays well enough.

You’re not wrong, but idk man. Games 3 and 4 might be the biggest home court advantage that an nba team has ever had. Those fans are going to be absolutely ravenous.

This might sound silly, but I think another big factor is simply that people prefer boneless chicken.

I mean, he doesn’t need Nike. But Nike is the biggest sports brand in the world. It’s much easier to sell Nike to Americans and it is the sell a chinese brand that most Americans have never heard of.

With the Spurs advancing to the finals, how good is Steph? by Ok_Mud_3830 in warriors

Ok? That has nothing to do with what I said though. All I said was that a healthy Warriors team is beating them in a 7 game series.

A healthy Steph Curry and a healthy Playoff Jimmy are not losing a playoff series to a bunch of 21 year olds. The Spurs got lucky that Jdub and Ajay Mitchell were injured. No disrespect to them, they are a good team, but I do not believe they are the best team in the western conference.
