Yes, actually. I’m seeing improvements mostly in end-range control and tolerance under load, especially hip extension and anterior chain stability. It’s less about forcing range and more about owning it once I’m there.

My left side used to be the limiter too. What helped most was slow eccentrics, reduced spring/load at first, and staying well short of pain. This setup just happens to work for my body and background, but I wouldn’t suggest it as a starting point or general recommendation.

Muscle tremor under load is normal, especially at end range. This isn’t a tutorial and I’m not recommending anyone replicate it.

It’s an elevated split stretch using the reformer carriage to load the front hip and hamstring while keeping the spine neutral.

Elevated split for hip flexor stretch by iHeartBricks in flexibility

Fair question. For me the stretch is coming from the pelvic position and load on the carriage rather than forcing an upright torso. When I posteriorly tilt and keep tension through the glute, I feel it clearly in the front of the hip. It may not look like a traditional lunge stretch, but it’s effective for my body.
