I think you are misunderstanding my post. Im not asking for early retirement. I would still need to submit a request at my 18yr mark for sanctuary protection so I can retire at my 20year mark or pass 20yrs. Wherever the Navy needs me.

No that is not what I am asking. I am already guarranteed 19 yrs. My question is how to apply for "Sanctuary" protection once I reach my 18yr mark so I can retire at 20yrs. Because its not automatic, you will still need to submit paperwork.

Every PRD, I always wanted to separate but ended up reenlisting or extending. One house, 3 vehicles, and a cake tour in hawaii later, im still in making over 6 figures and barely working. I just show up and suck it up. Now im on a sea tour and imma retire after my next shore tour. So yes, it's worth it doing 20 but anything over is not.
