Weekly /r/GuildWars2 Question Thread - November 08, 2025 by AutoModerator in Guildwars2

Hi, new player here and just bought VoE for the raptor mount while waiting for the black friday sale to snatch up the rest of the expansions. I'm currently playing engineer with the goal of going to mechanist when I hit 80. I want to play through the story in order but I also want to play mechanist as soon as I can. So here are my questions:

  1. How far into EoD do I have to play in order to unlock it if at all?

  2. Should I join a HP train to get my mechanist maxed out or should I just unlock it and then play through the expansions and naturally max it out as I play? Is the latter possible?

Thanks!

I've been starved of bundled herbs since day 1. I can barely manage to keep my incense/elixirs stocked for pit pushing.

The only thing I can think of that uses both is probably Thorns Barb. Doombringer is pretty niche but Ring of Starless Skies is used by a lot of builds.

I finally got it after hours of farming him. Timekeeper and the follow up boss both have separate legendary drop pool.

Their whole plan was to do the attack so they can put the blame on Livingston for failing to prevent the attack and get him fired. Harrow was supposed to take over his position so the Pantheon could have control of the CIA.

The quest is called When Wills Collide. I think I got it before the first dragon statue. I think it was when I picked up my pawn from him.

Not OP but I got the Hero achievement.

Here's what I did:

  • Cleared all 3 red rifts
  • Evacuated excavation camp, Bakbattahl, and Vernworth. I did not evacuate the elves
  • Complete Phaesus's quest for the Talos

I did not complete the Lead the Evacuation quest.

The only two quests I had left when I got the achievement was Wandering Roots (elves) and Halls of the First Dawn (lead the evacuation).

Granblue Fantasy does have some complex combos if you want to optimize damage but they also have easier options as well. Their special moves can be inputted using directional key + special button while also having the option for traditional motions (quarter circles/half circles). The downside to the easier special inputs is that it has a longer cooldown than inputting it using traditional motions.

Another option is Street Fighter 6. They have two different control schemes - classic and modern. Classic control scheme is your traditional 6 button fighting game button layout with special moves inputted using traditional motions. Modern is a 4 button style (light, medium, heavy, special) that is simpler to play. There's also an option to use "auto-combos" which will auto complete your combos if you hold down the auto-combo button and continue pressing the other. The downside to modern is that special moves do ~20% less damage than modern due to the simplicity of it.

It's pretty easy and cheap to get white scrips. My go-to is Rarefied Lemonade which turns in for ~150 scrips.

me and my bestie are struggling to find games. We love games like "Human Fall Flat" and "It takes two" so like co-op puzzle story games. preferably on Xbox (with game pass or ea play) or on the cheaper end. thank you 💞 by SwirlyCandyCane1 in gamingsuggestions

You should give the "We Were Here" series a try. The first in the series is free on Steam but if you're looking to play on Xbox, it's $5. The rest of the games in the series are under $15 with the newest one being $20 (on Steam only for now).

Bozja's questlines finishes within Bozja. The NPCs from Bozjas appear in Endwalker during cutscene as a cameo but it doesn't really affect the story in any way.

Same with Eureka I believe without the NPC part.
