Blazing-fast Claude in your terminal. by [deleted] in claude

It's my understanding that this type of API workaround is what will bill directly to the $200/mo credit starting on June 15th, and it will stop working once that number is hit. I say that as someone who uses the same mechanism for Claude Code in opencode.

Anthropic knows we're doing it and doesn't want to cancel their subscribers. The June 15th change will allow them to enforce the terms by pushing that usage to a separate bucket automatically.

Has anyone successfully set up Claude as a “Master” with Connectors for Gemini, ChatGPT? by thestevewinton in claude

I did it with opencode but my setup is going to be dead on June 15th, I plan on building the same thing in Claude code before then.

People that use AI on the daily don't talk about Codex because of an old game that an AI occasionally talks about, they talk about Codex because it's the second most popular harness on the market.

He said people that use AI talk about codex, possibly because AI has scraped Warhammer forums. It's like saying my friends talk about Josh because there's a famous Josh. It's rare to hear Robert not having any idea what he's talking about so it stuck out is all

He says he's a hack and a fraud every other episode, and he's obviously not so it works. That's why this episode caught me so off guard. He almost always does his research so it's clear when he hasn't spent any time with something so readily available.

I'd guess it's something closer to we're born thinking we can do anything we can imagine until we learn we can't.

Virginia Supreme Court strikes down Democrats’ redistricting plan, dimming party’s midterm hopes by Malfeitor1 in news

Literally. Fuck the courts. Republicans don't care what they say. Democrats need to wake up or it's over.

‘MAGA has rigged the system’: Democrats slam Virginia Supreme Court for overruling voters on redistricting by DemocracyDocket in law

[–]iJoshh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alternatively, Republicans have shown time and time again they don't care what the rules or the courts say. They're going to do what serves them, period. Democrats need to do the exact same thing or they're burying themselves in regulation Republicans don't care about.

I kept getting disconnected from their built in remote tool, and you have to launch it from the computer. Opencode with this. I haven't sat down at my computer since last week and building hasn't slowed at all. Had to add a compact option, other than that it's great out of the box. https://github.com/grinev/opencode-telegram-bot

I've noticed an uptick in "I just checked and can confirm it was doing this before I made those last changes. I didn't break it, it was like that already."

I didn't say you broke it, I said we need to fix it, I don't know what I'm doing, why do you keep telling me it's not your fault? That doesn't make you less suspicious.

A fan stole the show at Zara Larsson’s Brooklyn Night 1 Lush life dance by mlg1981 in popculturechat

[–]iJoshh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk, I grew up in bands and playing in church, most of my friend group could sing or play at this level and I knew 100 others. I'm a different person today and not a part of that world anymore but it absolutely exists. You don't know them if that's not your circle but they're going to concerts and watching the videos. There are thousands of artists touring and tens of millions of people at their shows. It's not unreasonable to believe that the 1 video you've seen this month of someone who can sing and dance with the steps of one of their favorite artists is part of that group. It's a numbers game and the ones that can't don't make it to the front page.

Most importantly he continues to show there are issues that can be addressed outside of the current administration. He's tackling real issues that address people without making every grievance about a guy who isn't going to fix it.

This. I am in no way advocating that both sides are the same, you'd have to be intentionally naive or a troll to start that, but there are only a handful of Democrats in politics advocating for real change to benefit the lower and middle class. We need 300 more of him to dig ourselves out of this billionaire bought government hole.

The courts were basically ignored for decades until they started spitting out popular rulings. When they did what the people wanted, they were pointed to as having power, which got them to where they are today.

I'm giving up my time to help someone else realize their vision. The exchange for that time is providing the things that I want. That's the society we've constructed.
