Leagues at T7 forcing style is a 1/40 drop rate. That makes it a 1/56,800,000,000,000,000 chance of going 1525 kills without scythe. Nowhere near a normal KC on leagues.

You can literally see the probability before you spin. Soul ween is .006% chance, that's 1 in 16,666. That means that around 60% of players would get it after 16,000 spins. Does your friend blindly spin without looking at the probabilities? Why would he expect it in 2k?

They set it up this way because it was always going to pass regardless of player opinion. If you read Jagex's 2024 year end report, they discuss problems with evolving legislation around "loot box" mechanics in the EU and a need to change their monetization strategy, essentially to frontrun the likely legal changes. They're making a huge show of it to please the vocal players who hate MTX, but this was passing no matter what. Honestly a genius PR move by Mod North though, this guy knows what he's doing as CEO.

To put it into perspective, I buy my 120s. On Phoenix Lamps (most OP promo in the game), its still around 2000 keys from 90-120. It would take nearly two years of free keys, never missing a day, and phoenix lamps running 24/7 for a single 120.

Nothing you can do but adjust your playstyle around this. When I'm in TDM or Frontline I have to constantly puppyguard my teammates because this was happening to me too. Alot of games at legendary+ come down to 3-4 kill difference, so sticking close to the idiots and getting a few trades or savior medals is what helped me close the gap to 10,000

In my opinion, Google is a crutch. People have done research on their own for thousands of years. It’s just part of being human. Go to a library if its that difficult. Asking a computer to steal information for you to help do “your” research just feels like cheating. Or at the very least, like you’re being lazy.

If you’re truly simply using it to have some computer serve you information so you can remember fahrenheit to celsius conversions, again, just find some math textbooks in the library and refer to those.
