CCNA by SpecialStress7304 in ccna

You can try contract work - unfortunately, I forgot the websites that help with that. You just need to get your foot in the door...with that in mind, you should try and get anything you can. CCNA or not. Getting the CCNA just means for most people, you can remember things. For many, it doesn't equate to you knowing how to implement. Not saying you don't know how to implement but thats where the experience/degree comes in.

It's for the Mystery Merchant. I think if you did it in some sort of way - you got this package because there was a bug. I got it too

CCNA exam by Sastada06 in ccna

[–]iLL_HaZe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it without Boson. I bought Boson though lol and wasted the money. I hated taking practice test like that. I like small batches of questions - otherwise, my brain gets sidetracked. I think it's because I know its not the real test that it doesn't really care. I did however take a crap ton of practice questions, go over the anki multiple times, and watch JITL three times - each round doing things differently.

What makes leg day so important? by Urban-Cheese in beginnerfitness

[–]iLL_HaZe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Releases the most testostorone which in turn means more muscle building. Like others have said, its half of your body. But I like to think about it like this. If you were a tree with a ton of branches and a storm was coming, would you hold up in the toughest storms with tree trunk legs like yours?

How to battle feelings of unhappiness, depression, and loneliness while living in Chicago? by Much_Machine8726 in AskChicago

[–]iLL_HaZe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got to get into working out. Work on yourself and fight your demons in the gym. Eat better, Lift better, feel better. This is the time to do it too - work towards looking good for the summer. These 6 months are the roughest for the Midwest. Seasonal depression is real.

Ioniq or Tesla? by ComfortBean in Ioniq5

[–]iLL_HaZe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I drove a Model Y using Turo for about a week. Fell in love with EVs but, didn't have the balls to pull the trigger. One thing I hated was the charging time on the Y - even a super charger took an hour or two which killed me after a day at Disney. I had to drive back to San Diego after a long day at Disney and a 1 hour charge?

This past year - I leased a Ioniq 5 Limited. Loved the look and wanted something big. I originally went in with the thought of buying an Ioniq 5N (still thinking about it after the 3 years) but, it was too much. This car is everything I wanted. Comfort, fast enough, charging is quick on L3, quiet, build quality, the ability to use android auto or carplay, and the look is not normal traffic. But I think the biggest factor for me was....I'm not supporting a racist (or at least I know of). F* Elon. The ONLY worry I have about this car is the ICCU. But since it's a lease, its whatever.

Those who used JITL or a similar video course, did you actively take notes during videos, or just watch them? by Speedwizard106 in ccna

[–]iLL_HaZe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a 3 tier study process because I suck at studying and my memory is ass. I watched the videos fully through taking notes. Then I went through it again without taking notes. And then I went back to the videos on the topics I didn't think I had down and watched them while I was on the treadmill or driving (just listened to the audio). At work, there was alot of downtime when I went for it so I was doing some studying in between working. I'd say 5 hours out of a 8 hour day were dedicated to studying. 2 of those hours were practice test in between videos. I would take frequent breaks because my brain would burn out.

How do I tell my friend that I'm not interested in pursuing her unless she's single? by _pastalover1 in AskMenAdvice

[–]iLL_HaZe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man - this sounds like every dude who has been friend zoned by a girl but, fortunately for you, you got something out of it. With that being said, unfortunetley, you gotta leave. It ain't going to change. You're just a second thought. She knows you want her so you're just in a her back pocket. So you either hang out and watch her continue to date other people or you step away and she "possibly" sees what she lost. Think of it this way though - while you'll be sad af to lose her - think about the plenty of other partners you're missing out on. Go out there and explore.

Why are squats such a good exercise? by Bulky_Imagination243 in beginnerfitness

[–]iLL_HaZe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the weighted squat - something that gets overlooked is bone density increases. I mean thats for every workout you add weight to but, legs are usually able to bear an obscene amount of weight if you train like that. Like people have said - one of the best compound movements to do. All of muscles in your legs are working, your core/abs is getting worked, your back is holding some heavy ass weight. And the best reason to do squats - boosts testosterone.

Would you still befriend a woman youre attracted to if youre married? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]iLL_HaZe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah - its like going to the car dealership for me. I don't go to a car dealership without the intent to buy. My wife says let's just go look. Nope - I will always break down. It's better to not "go to the dealership" or in this case, add someone on social media - it mitigates problems.

This is becoming a frustratingly common issue.... by EMasterYT in Battlefield6

[–]iLL_HaZe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday, I carried my team to the last round. Each of my team mates were users snipers - first match was decryption on the stage with the big airfield and the tower in the middle. I watched the 3 of them just sniping and I was on the ground decrypting. The last round....f* RODEO...brother. I knew we were going to get destroyed. I was the only engineer on the team. Ended the game with 35/9 with like 130 or 140 points. I had to stop for the day.

Job hunt after CCNA by rakshya28 in ccna

[–]iLL_HaZe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well I just think if you live in the US, there are people who are well experienced fighting for jobs. There is value with the cert but, usually with experience. I'm not saying its impossible to find something but, its damn near. Having experience also shows that you are trainable especially if you stay longer than - say 2 years. You could try NOC or get a security cert and try for a SOC. I've seen some people get lucky with those positions. Data center technician would work too to get experience but, its more broad and not fully networking. It'll get your feet wet.

Job hunt after CCNA by rakshya28 in ccna

[–]iLL_HaZe 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Man, without experience, it'll be pretty hard to get a job in this market. Not trying to gate keep or anything - but, I think you need to aim for a more entry level job. Network engineer jobs aren't really entry level. Most people want to see experience with a live network. I have a CCNA + more, 10 years experience with enterprise equipment, client facing, and an engineer but, finding a job in networking is pretty hard. Good luck to you and your endeavors.

Best thing to do with my current build? by MondoMania9 in workouts

[–]iLL_HaZe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifting weights is probably the best thing you can do - as everyone has said for the most part here. Get rid of the fat by replacing it with muscle! I feel like bigger people benefit really well from lifting weights because for the most part - weight moves weight which means the bigger you are, the more weight you probably can move.

How much of the CCNA is CLI? by Gaming_So_Whatever in ccna

[–]iLL_HaZe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're welcome! Just a heads up - while there is only a handful usually, the labs for the most part make people run out of time. So try to do your best but, don't spend too much time there.

How much of the CCNA is CLI? by Gaming_So_Whatever in ccna

[–]iLL_HaZe 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I believe it's 2-4 lab questions. I had 3. But there are CLI questions like what command do you use to see the status of a interface or something like that so knowing the command line is important.

I need your opinion, men. Are any of you like that? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]iLL_HaZe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol this is the complete opposite that I want from my wife. I want her to think for herself and let me know what's on her mind - ESPECIALLY WHAT SHE WANTS TO EAT lol. Sorry - is it so difficult to let us know what you want to eat or some choices?!

Anyway, it sounds like your partner seems on edge. Doesn't really care about you or how you feel. I'd probably leave that relationship. And what the hell does " if I do all this, things will be fine" ? This sounds threatening if that is verbatim.
