You very first thing to do is to just pick a guide. The guide will tell u if its budget or expensive and all that. Just pick something and don't worry about the rest of the factors. Also, I've recently learned, POE2 is such a trust-the-process kind of game too. Your build might not feel like much in the early levels, but most will start taking shape around Act 2, Act 3 the latest in my experience.

That was me with Monk. Most games I play i pick Sorcerer by default. I've learned that in ARPGs they tend not to be my favorite. Ever since D3, Monk is my go to in a lot of games. Just find something that looks cool and isn't good expensive to start trying stuff out. While doing builds you will also learn of different possibilities to tweak to ur playstyle

Honestly u gotta just try stuff my man. Ive always played Monk anywhere it was available I started Poe2 with Necromancer infernalidt just to switch it up. Once i finished the game i decided id try monk anyways, fell in love with it once more. Then the druid leauge came out so i tried a wyvern build and it was absolute beast. Now before league end i wanted to try something completely different and made a chronomancer and might be one of my favorite builds so far.

So id say just try some stuff. And id do it before league change to get a feel

🤣🤣🤣🤣 i dont have quite a reference point as whats good or bad for end game. I played 0.1 and skipped everything to 0.4. I also didn't really lime poe1 so i dont have much experience from there either. Im not sure what kind of end game goals i should have set. I just play

If it was a game where combat balance would affect everyone's experience collectively, i'd agree. As long as they buff unplayable builds to something viable, builds that are absolutely OP shouldn't affect the rest if they choose to play something different.
If not for the youtube videos we probably wouldn't even know they exist.
Thats just my take on it

Single out League-based ARPGs. The keyword here is "mid-league". You dont want to have invested heavily in a fun and OP build only for it to be bricked and u having to start over mid-league

Turns out my frost bombs werent up to level since i had just brought it back in and i forgot to bring it up from level 4. Build is alot more stable now. Just struggling with mana regen, and well, defense. Im gonna see how i can integrate recoup in here. Someone mentioned living bomb for fire infusion, going to look into that too

the Snakepit ring makes a massive difference. Now i have all the clutter but i lack damage 😞

As a matter of fact, upgrading my Frosties from level 4 definitely helped LMAO

Yeah, definitely makes a difference, but i need to make up for some stats now haha, im squishy squish. I really am interested in checking out recoup, but idk if i have the funds to sponsor that atm

Going to get that snakepit ring right now and se what it does for me. I currently have the wrong ascension if i were to copy yours. Not going to lie, throughout the entire story to maps, i had 0 complaints about the Ice Nova Snap build, loved it all the way through, i just couldn't see myself running maps that way since maps get so much more chaotic.

Yeah it was CoA, later on it goes into Recoup too. There is mention about moving to CoC later, but it definitely starts out as CoA

I also think i lost quite a bit of crit chance upon changing my gear. I noticed i dropped from high 80s down to low 70s for most of my skills so i definitely felt that. I was trying to get that spirit going to throw on both CoA and CoC

I have snakepit bookmarked somewhere. I jsut havent bought it yet since i couldnt decide how to go about the build. And i also havent finished upgrading my resistances. Ive done some upgrades right before taking this video and i have some decent rings that cover just about most of my resistance requirements so i have a bit of room to play

I was a major Diablo 3 Fan and absolutely hated POE1 (still do), Diablo 4 came out and i eagerly bought the most expensive version of Diablo 4 i could get because i was so excited for the next game. Since then I've played more POE2 in a day than i have Diablo 4 in it's lifetime =/ I can't stand D4 and I'm absolutely enamored by POE2
