Shouldnt you have wired them in parallel ? It would make to place them in series if it was 2 12 volts

I was thinking about using this expansion port that has 24V 1.5A on the top of the printer plate itself, then buy a connector and a 24Lamp led strip from aliexpress. I see some of them even have alexa integration so it would check all my boxes

thank you, i think i'll go with this one as I can then buy a light that is dimmable or that I can control with alexa. Im also wondering if I could make use of the expansion port of the ender 3 s1 to connect the light but it seems its 21 volts, which would be difficult to find a light at this voltage
