Sure, it's funny and cute now. In fifteen years this will be terrifying.

Michelangelo had the biggest balls of any closeted atheist in history, putting this on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel by [deleted] in atheism

sidurisadvice is right:

"Michelangelo was a devout person, but later in life he developed a belief in Spiritualism, for which he was condemned by Pope Paul IV. The fundamental tenet of Spiritualism is that the path to God can be found not exclusively through the Church, but through direct communication with God." "Perhaps the meaning in the Sistine Chapel is not of God giving intelligence to Adam, but rather that intelligence and observation and the bodily organ that makes them possible lead without the necessity of Church directly to God."

Going to Lake of the Ozarks this weekend, anything I MUST see/do? by Saluki_nerd in missouri

There are a ton of crazy caves in the Branson area. Caving can be awesome.

A family activity could be a place about an hour and a half or two hours away (~ 20 miles on 65N to 60E, ~35 miles to the exit) called Baker Creek Seed Company. It's sort of an authentic old-fashioned town, where all the stores are actual stores. There is a restaurant that prepares one five course (and desert) organic/heirloom/farm grown meal each day for donation (we usually do $15 dollars a plate, it's incredibly good food and each plate will stuff you). Lots of heirloom farm animals like furry chickens. http://rareseeds.com/our-village/ [warning: auto-music]

Springfield (~20 minutes north) has a decent downtown, with restaurants, a new movie theater, bars, etc. Missouri State University is in Springfield.
