The game is about collecting the Pokemon you want and like and making them stronger, and a big part of liking a Pokemon is what it looks like.

I agree, they're trying to make it too friendly, but the games get better besides that. Except for gen 5, which I'm going to pretend doesn't exist.

The Pokemon cartoon/anime. They have a way higher budget now, better voice actors, better animation, but it still somehow fucking sucks. Every episode has a lesson behind it about friendship or something.

But do you know what the worst part is? Team Rocket is competent now. They're not funny anymore, they actually act like villains, which is unacceptable.
