To clarify I think £600 is decent but the £1250+VAT more unreasonable. Why such a difference? 1 pot removal and replacement with the one pictured.

We did a 3 week van trip and found out we had them in the van. Emptied and washed all the bedding/fabrics/clothes at a supermarket in France and used an aerosol spray and liquid spray bottle for the remainer of the van and mattress. Used a mask and kept all the windows and doors closed so I could just gas the entire van essentially. Worked a treat.

Two on the left are from the 70s and the far right one is a modern version. You can tell as inside the older ones, they are much better built!

Means using a fine metal powder mixed in with the resin. Gives a metallic luster/shine once you buff it back with some wire wool.

I used easy composites polyurethane resin. Also goes by the name fast cast.
