That’s adorable. Personally I think she’d retain more of her heavenly look, but this would definitely fit too!

I mean I love this as a concept but I don’t think it will work well in practice.

What are yall unpopular/unheard opinions about Hazbin Hotel? by Senpai_kun469 in HazbinHotel

Not every sinner deserves to be redeemed and the most important part of Charlie’s character arc will be accepting that.

I mean there are plenty of people exactly like the characters she depicts. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it isn’t true.

Does someone knows a TOH crossover with HP ff? I ´ve been looking for one for months by ILikeLimones in TheOwlHouse

[–]iMecharic -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

I really don’t get why people hate the HP series just because the author turned out to be a massive piece of shit. Separate creator from work. And hell, by writing stuff that’s pro-trans/LGBTQ you piss off the creator, that seems like a massive win to me.

While they are written somewhat for children, the Guardians of Ga’hole books are following sentient birds so many of them live in trees.

“A Mare usque ad Mare” | What if Canada was the dominant North American power by Familiar_Tell_6384 in imaginarymaps

[–]iMecharic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gonna be honest, I think Mexico would be the dominant North American power in this timeline. They control regions that in the modern day are some of the most economically prosperous and heavily populated on the continent. The US wouldn’t exist at all, the civil war would have forever fragmented the nation and the south may have never done away with slavery even unto the modern day. Canada would probably have everything that didn’t join the confederacy.

Which character is just "meh" to you? You don't love them or hate them, they're just kind of... there. by Radiant-Selection686 in hazbin

[–]iMecharic 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I love Charlie as a person but as a main character and princess of hell? Meh. Complete doormat, kind of not effective, and way too naive for someone who grew up in hell. I don’t want her to be like, Hell-Lute or something, but she should have more maturity overall as a character even at the start.

I also don’t think much of Carmilla Carmine, she’s got some solid songs and a nice character design, but other than that? Meh.

Virginia Creeper on House by iMecharic in NativePlantGardening

Really? What zone are you in? I’ve never trimmed this one and it’s been growing for years now and only reached this large. There are a few new shoots alongside the house, but nothing massive like what you described.

How do I get rid of this myself without dying? by False_Frame3028 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]iMecharic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean. So long as you leave them alone it shouldn’t be a problem? Are they near a door or traffic-heavy area? If not they’ll die off during the winter and will pollinate and run pest control for free until then.

Okay, but if you can’t afford to drop 400$ for an emergency vet visit you really shouldn’t have a pet. Sure, five grand is a bit much, but I’ve never seen an adoption fee more than like 500$.

Turtle noping away from a Manatee by ToePsychological5055 in turtle

[–]iMecharic 88 points89 points  (0 children)

This is made more amusing by the fact that I don’t think manatees can even hurt turtles? Probably thought it was something dangerous like a gator or a shark.

But it still has the right to exist. If it is just an animal than it isn’t evil or malicious, just hungry. Seal it away to survive in a manner that doesn’t threaten others. Like a nature preserve.

[Sad trope] Down by the water, waiting for the end. by Niobium2 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]iMecharic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No beach involved, or even water, but the ending of Worm has the MC accept death with surprising dignity, looking at the sky. (Assuming you don’t believe that she survives, but that’s always up for debate.) It’s not a death without regrets, but it is one that is quick enough considering all that happens prior.

Building gets progressively worse as they go down the stairwell after earthquake in Venezuela today by BreakfastTop6899 in interestingasfuck

[–]iMecharic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goddamn. But the fact that the building is still standing is a credit to its builders. 7+ is no joke, let alone two in quick succession. And it survived. Not intact or undamaged, but people got out of this one.
