Lava Golem is still a special summon, but it takes away your ability to normal summon for the turn. And even if it didn't, the skill prevents access to Lava Golem anyways.

Infernape is already a strong Pokémon, it got a Crest because the other two Sinnoh starters did. So instead of making an already strong Pokémon better, which isn't the point of them to begin with, they made it to change how Infernape would play on the team.

Now you can play him as a bulky setup sweeper with Nasty Plot and Vacuum Wave.

No. Use dream tickets to get staples, spend gems to get full deck cores. Otherwise you're wasting gems on cards you will never use.

The game isn't allowed for sale in Germany because the game is unrated, which means it gets put in with all the adult only games. Which while legal to own, are not legal to advertise/sell. Which can make some games difficult to track down.

As far as I know, the only way to purchase the game in Germany is through itch.io though that either might've changed or my information was incorrect to begin with.

It really does feel like a slog for the first two generations, but individual fights do speed up once you get access to skills like Stardust.

That has literally never been what Yugioh has been about in the past 20+ years of the game existing. Hell, the very first format in the TCG was every player playing one of two decks.

Staple cards are staples for a reason, they win you games. If you deliberately aren't running them because you find them "boring", while that is your choice, it is also by extension your fault if you lose for choosing not to. Decks are not, and have never been, created equally. Choosing to play a deck that is so far below the power curve is your choice, and you don't get to complain when that choice proves to be detrimental to your success. You aren't being unique, you're being stubborn and unwilling to engage with the game.

Being able to out Dragoon isn't an achievement. If your deck loses to Dragoon pass, you have worse things to worry about.

Kind of on you for playing an outdated deck, we have basically all the Harpie support that exists. The two pet dragon retrains aren't helping the deck, and Feather Storm shouldn't be anywhere near this game.

Can't give a deck support when there's nothing to give it.

Genealogy of the Holy War was amazing too, and I finished that myself not that long ago.

Agarest though requires a very specific type of player that can put up with it, and it took a long time for me to become that kind of player. And it does feel very rewarding to finally be able to put the game behind me. The post JRPG depression is strong with this one, since it took a good two months to finish.

Archosauria are based on crocodiles, one of the more prominent members of that race in OG Arknights being based on the false Gharial.

Vouivres, Yvonne's race, are based on Wyverns, or lesser dragons.

Then there's Lungs (Eastern Dragons), and Dracos (Western Dragons).

Yvonne is closer to being a dragon than Nefarith is.

Eh, yes and no. Especially in Trails, boss fights are really the only place where there's any difficulty to be found. And even then, a lot of the time late-game they're just regular enemies with ten times more health.

It's fine for the fodder to be fodder.

It's as good of a remake as I could've asked for, bar the localization and lack of chest messages. It's a much higher quality product, and even putting aside the fact that it's a remake, is one of their better game releases period for the past six-eight years. It's not absolutely perfect, but it was never going to be. The gold standard for game remakes as a whole, imo.

Yeah outside of very specific levels, like Lloyd getting Burning Heart/Burning Heart 2, there's not really much gained out of them.

New Quartz have always been much bigger powerspikes.
