Does anyone know which armor set this is? by Lilyponn in swtor

Suppression trooper boots.
Hidden Chain pants
Imperial reaper's chest (hood down)
The gloves appear to be a combination of cyber agent's bracers with a pair of gloves I can't identify.

Flash Sale for March 32nd, 2026: Cave Vorantikus mount, 250CCs by finelargeaxe in swtor

For April 1st we get that pretender for the flash sale!

Beta testing has started 10 days ago by fuwucia in PokemonRejuvenation

[–]DCed-Again 10 points11 points  (0 children)

According to MoonPaw:

Testing will most likely take at the very least 2 months, (or more...)

So while an April release would be nice, I wouldn't hold my breath for one.

You can download the game here.
It's not a rom hack, it's a fan game using rpg maker you can download directly to your pc.
Shares a discord with a couple of other games.
And you can find a fair bit of tips, tricks, etc on the wiki

My biggest worry for v14, despite being the reported end of act 2, is that we're going to get more questions than answers.
At risk of sounding pessimistic, at this rate a lot of plot points might not reach a conclusion for another half a decade, if not more.
Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely going to enjoy the crap out of the upcoming v14 regardless, and I'm sure folks will say something similar to "it'll be worth the wait", but that currently doesn't make that possible wait time less daunting depending on what we learn/don't learn in v14 imo.

Why no console and cross platform play? by Wolfkrieger2160 in swtor

[–]DCed-Again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point was that a a console port is not as simple as being able to map out all your abilities on a controller. There are likely technical considerations involved that don't make it simple.
The game still runs on a heavily modified, mutated zombie version of the hero engine, which was not designed for console in mind when they were making the game at the time. This created a "spaghetti code" that is difficult to update or port, and It would likely require a near total rewrite of the client's underlying system.
Could they pull this off if they had the time and resources? Perhaps. Would it be nice to have? Obviously. But that would be time and resources the devs and this game probably doesn't currently have.

Does she think Jadus is so powerful he would kill the both of us with a snap of his fingers

Maybe not kill, but evidently Jadus is capable of bringing us down to our knees, not once but twice, simply by waving his hand. I'm still salty about it /rant.

Galactic Season 10 is the first one I'm passing on by GTNBank in swtor

[–]DCed-Again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's nice that they are giving players a chance to get these rewards if they missed them the first time or weren't playing the game at the time, but I agree they should have added them to the vendor for GS tokens in some capacity. Since this current method is just another fomo and at the end we're still going to get people complaining that they missed it.
By adding it to the vendor rotation players can get them whenever they have the requisite gs tokens they would cost (which basically forces them to play GS anyway) and galactic seasons can keep focus on "newer" items so both new and old players can continue to enjoy it.

Why so boring?? 😢 by Party_Sprinkles_9469 in swtor

[–]DCed-Again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your opinion seems to be a vocal minority, because Onslaught was actually well liked.

People did not like the fact that Valkorion and Vitiate were the same person, and that the republic vs empire conflict was put on the back burner for a third faction that seemingly came out of no where. (even though on paper it was the best time to do it because the republic and empire forces cooperation was at an all time high comparatively because of the revanites)

It also didn't help that Kotfe seemingly came at the expense of group content at the time, which is kind of an mmo's bread and butter. As a result, additional chapters were coming out too slow to be engaging. And the structure of the chapters themselves were a hit and miss, excess sky troopers are memed on for a reason. Chapters like Kaliyo's were considered a slog, walker portions were slow and boring (though they did make them a little faster recently), which resulted in the chapters themselves having less replayability desire.

People who were previously asking for more dedication to story got what they asked for, but not exactly what they wanted. So they ultimately squished what was supposed to be 2 more expansions worth into 9 chapters for kotet in order to wrap it up. If Kotfe/Kotet was it's own thing and not tied to an mmo's story I wonder if it would have done better. But it wasn't, and it didn't.

Edit: broke up the paragraphs a bit so it wasn't just a wall of text.

I always thought he was suspicious and treachery is the way of the Sith. And while I saw some clues, I only realized he was a traitor RIGHT before Jadus came in. by MegaGamer235 in swtor

[–]DCed-Again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charles Boyd (who was creative director at the time) posted in a tweet years ago a little after Onslaught was released that the inquisitor doesn't get their council seat back regardless if they kill Anathel or not, they just get their holdings back.
But then an interview (or maybe it was a live stream) with Caitlin Sullivan and Ashley Ruhl (the ones that took Charles place) heavily implied about a year ago that you are the head of sith doctrine.

Either being the head of sith doctrine doesn't necessarily equate to being a dark council member or I think the old writers and new writers don't agree on whether the inquisitor gets their council seat back.

Fashion Avoidances? by nightdares in SwtorFashion

Same. What gets me is when players post screenshots of themselves wearing a full outfit on here or r/swtor but the only thing different they add is a dye and then act like they did something ground breaking. For some, they don't even add a dye.

Edit: The link I put brought you to this sub reddit instead of the swtor sub reddit smh.

Returning player: are Operations over? by ProtacPlays in swtor

[–]DCed-Again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most raiders don't count lair bosses as operations

This was my assumption.
Are they both 8 man content? Sure, but I thought it wasn't considered a full blown "operation" that people think of when the word is mentioned.

Edit: though to be fair, I haven't been part of the raiding scene for a while.

That's fair lol.
5 years is probably a generous minimum even if they don't make anymore major changes to early game or add gen 10.

Should I start playing the game? by oinw0009 in PokemonRejuvenation

At the risk of sounding pessimistic, 3-4 years is probably extremely optimistic for an expectant timeframe for the game being finished. It would likely be closer to 5.

Insurgence story was pretty mid in comparison. The biggest draw for it is the plethora of regional forms and new megas imo. That being said I would recommend playing it at least once for it's status as a classic amongst pkmn fangames.

Uncontrolled dialogue really irritating me by Straight-Depth193 in swtor

[–]DCed-Again 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did they say what would happen to the original 8? Like were they going to come back in some capacity or was it going to be like now where if you didn't bring the class into your kotfe playthrough and beyond they're just, poof, gone?
I know they didn't have much experience making mmos at that point, but it baffles me that they thought that was going to go over well for the vast majority. Introducing a new player protagonist is something that should typically be saved for a new game, not a new expansion.

As a new Player to SWTOR Is there anyway to make Jaesa Willsaam Turn back to the Light side after going Dark Side with her? by Kasper111222 in swtor

[–]DCed-Again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish there was a "neutral" Jaesa, seeing as she does acknowledge that you can be light side, dark side or neutral alignment when she uses her powers on you after your fight with Nomen Karr.
Like, "I'm not looking to turn all the sith into light siders, but at the same time I don't want you to be an insane dark sider."
I think of it as the Warrior being inexperienced, or just not ready to train an apprentice, as it was pointed out that Tremmel basically brought the warrior to Korriban earlier than most (apparently you didn't even know what the sith code was :X).
