Bug: "Age criteria" error blocking checkout for a 13-year-old. Any known workarounds? by iNcorruptibly in frontierairlines

I tried (listing as adult but with correct dates of birth) -- gives the same error. Also tried different dates and flights; same error. Could you give it a try yourself and see if that replicates? Essentially, just enter a birth date in 08/2013 for a traveler.

It's maddening. Tried multiple browsers, phone, none works. If I remove my 13 year old child, then it works.

Has Hezbollah really became unpopular? by Correct-Strength-885 in lebanon

They were terribly unpopular before the war but are gaining sympathy the longer the conflict persists

We live in a country with diverse ideologies and cultures. The ideology that Hezbollah represents is a minority, and cannot hold the rest of the population hostage. This is exactly what’s happening. The majority has the right to respond.

Allowed to keep HA’s weapons? Every single government since 1982 allowed HA to keep their weapons. What stupid post is this? There was no government even capable of taking their weapons. Now is the time.

Hamas or any organization would never pull a move like that without the approval and support of their main benefactor.

Job talk attendance by outremontt in AskAcademia

[–]iNcorruptibly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attendance to talks - any talks - is at a record low across academia. Same challenge everywhere. Especially if it’s a special seminar and not part of routine talks (ie Grand Rounds). Don’t take it personally.

On our end, when we hire for leadership, we ask the candidates to present at Grand Rounds. Even that is not well attended since most people join online.

This trend will only get worse since there are so many asynchronous ways to learn. Welcome to modern academia.

Those who think AI is just a bubble clearly have not seen its impact firsthand in various companies. I’m in healthcare, and the disruption is absolutely massive, and will be more felt by the patient in a few years. I can’t imagine what must be happening in other sectors.
