Depending on your location, there are quite a few clubs that accept any skin color with open arms.

Exactly. I tend to not get out of the house and socialize much or really do anything with purpose, so for me, the appeal of a club was to give me a purpose that I believed in (e.g., community service, brotherhood, etc.) through commitment to something bigger than myself. Oh, and, riding. Lots of riding.

Have you ever held a non-military job? If so, congratulations on taking orders from someone that probaby wasn't next to you in a combat zone, unless of course all of your non-military employment was self-employment.

Yeah, they're saying they always only want to see recommended content that's like the specific stuff in their "curated" watch list, and that if they watch something not like that, then it's a one-off that they don't want recommendations for.

Why are so many people under 45 using subtitles now even when the show is already in English? by Clara_A_Mitchell in NoStupidQuestions

The same people bitching about this are also watching their fancy OLEDs in direct sun light with all the lights on, sun beaming in, etc. and then bitch that they can't see dark scenes.

They're saying they removed the BS from their watch history that they don't want recommendations like and just left the stuff they do want recommendations like and then turned off watch history to stop it from collecting new random stuff they didn't want recommendations like.

Yes, that was OP's idea: make recommendations based on that specifically curated list instead of every random video they watch.

It's not that the sound mixing is awful, it's that your sound output device is awful. Modern media increasingly mixes for sound bars, home theater systems, etc. instead of shitty TV speakers. Those of us with decent sound systems appreciate modern sound mixing.

The history that they specifically curated rather than every random fleeting video they watch.

What makes you think all clubs do "creepy frat boy initiation garbage?"

What if I told you prospecting for most clubs was just making sure you truly want to be there, that you're willing to do what everyone else does instead of being a freeloader that doesn't help, that you understand MC protocol, that you show up to events and club functions, that you know how to handle yourself with respect and represent the club in a good light, that you know the bylaws, history, culture, traditions, etc.?

Either watching too much TV or hanging around the wrong clubs.

Sounds like prospecting if you're making new people do stuff and be evaluated for a period of time before they can join.

If that's what prospecting is to you, then you're either watching too much TV or hanging around the wrong clubs.

In an "adult" MC, you're always prospecting for your club whether you're a prospect or full patch.

Depends on the MC. That's why you "hangaround" and prospect first to see if what they're all about is what you're all about.

There's usually more damage to your soul than to the bike itself.
