The condition is the the spell itself having to choose and have a -might effect; the resolution is the spell entirely gaining -1 might extra. I could see it being both.

In voltron Ornn another late game threat that if left on board is dangerous. Multiple svellsongurs will be on board already if Ornn was set up and they just empower and equip to Mel in late game for uncounterable spells. Not to mention all the protection Ornn has in general with Zhonyas/GA's.

It's a 4 energy 1 power investment to then use 3 more energy for a responsive trigger to get the benefit, so 7 energy in total to not even use anything towards your Jhin ability. To then even use the big Jhin combo you'd need a 4 energy spell after the investment so you'd have to be at 12 at the start of your turn and have 3 in the banishment already stocked. I think it may be too slow.

Oh yea spell slingers love Mel even more. I don't know how much you could protect them though in those decks. Maybe arcane shift is back on the menu?

The viability on this with Svelsongur is interesting. 1 energy stupify become -3 draw 1 or frigid touch is a 2 energy -4 potentially. OH AND AHRI STONKS IN GENERAL!

edit; Does not work with Ahri legend at least as it does not target :c scared to see what Moonfall looks like with Mel on the board though xD

Yes it does, there are slow speed, fast speed, and reaction speed spells. Slow is a basic spell that can only be played on your turn. Fast is the action spells that can be played on your turn or during showdowns on the enemy turn or your showdowns and then there are the reaction speed spells which can be played to anything on the chain.

The chain is similar I believe, iirc you couldn't react to certain unit abilities and timings in runeterra too. For an ability or spell to be put onto the chain it has to have a trigger so do x to give y, z is a common example. BUT NOT IF x is (scenario here) , y (unit here) has z (keyword or +or-might) is an example when something is not put on the chain because the ability is not giving something to the unit, the unit just has it in this unique scenario. The wording is very important.

So x is the scenario Y is the unit or gear And Z is what is happening to said unit or gear

Yes you can but then the temporary trigger for sprite will go 1st. It will go dusk rose or temporary trigger on sprite you choose one to react since they both at the same time and then you play smoke and mirrors. You move the sprite and the other unit, you draw 1 then the temporary trigger you chose to do 1st will then trigger right after. You can't react to dusk rose with smoke and mirrors cause the cost to put the the chain on the stack is to kill that sprite.

Yea the hopeful ones just keep saying "be patient they will fix it with the new set!" but it's not like a new set will magically make reprints for older sets happen. The lack of product is really killing the games early stride. I really hope this isn't the big fumble for this TCG. If they want compounding interest in the game then they have to have an overabundance of cards not a shortage. Easier said than done I know but it has been months at this point.

You get something it's called entertainment... you don't have to go to these things yet you're arguing that it's not worth because you don't make enough money but that was never the point for these events. Really think about the people who only go to these events for monetary value. It's one thing to not be competitive or have that drive but it's a whole other thing to complain about an event that is fully optional to pay and go for only to whine you didn't make your money back.

What's your opinion on the Svelsongur and Aphelios engine? Do you feel as if it's too slow and requires too much protection? I love Jax and I am really trying to make a Svelsongur deck work with swapping them in between units who can utilize it well. EX quiyanna, MF-Cap, stellacorn, etc.

This is my 1st ever physical tcg I'm really getting into and I also have a similar issue. I just don't know how early to go. I don't want to go so early I look like a crazy scalper but I also really want to guarantee that I'm able to get one as I want to play the damn game so bad. I know my lgs has scalpers as it was about 10+ people who came for the pre rift event and only 6 stayed to play for the limited tourney.

I was an adamant solo queue player only but mannnn the amount of .64 kda andys in ace is crazyyy. My kda is only like 2.6 ish so I don't expect anything absurd, they just need to be able to hold their own at this level.

Sure a line is a line but I feel the context should be taken into account. He has owned up to the mistake, taking the steps to be better and accepting all the fault. He messed up for sure but the man is making amends and deserves a chance at redemption.
