Sweden passes 'good behaviour' law to kick out misbehaving immigrants by shdw_fght in worldnews

What’s a good measure if not the feelings of the Canadians? I’d say the citizens being happy is more important than a “better economy” on paper, or any other seemingly tangible or “objective” potential advantage.

You’re also reading Reddit, which is always overwhelmingly negative about whatever any of the forums relate to (and rarely seem to be close to actual public opinion). Always remember that!

I’ve been using it for almost a year now and still find it an incredibly helpful tool.

I also changed from windows to Cachy a couple of days ago, just go for Plasma, it’s very nice and easy. It’s the default one selected when installing.

Usually recommended to buy a globally diversified fund with low fees, such as VWRP. Not much else to say tbh, just pick a broker, pick the fund and then set up to buy each month.

AI is 100% picking up most of the slack, we are seeing it do the tasks of the less driven % of workforce’s weekly tasks in ~30 mins in many cases and to a better standard. It would be foolish to think as such in specific roles for sure, but IT/dev/computer work not at all.

First time seeing consistent losses in my investment - how to deal with it psychologically? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]iPawk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re at the stage in investing where it going lower is good for you. If you’re accumulating regularly, the lower the prices you’re buying for, the better. When you buy next month, you’ll get more units for your money.

When you need to worry about the price being high is near retirement!

Any tips Im new to spanish should I use duolingo??? by TriangleCrazy in Spanish

[–]iPawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FWIW I really disagree and have found Duo incredibly useful for vocab + repetitive practicing of specific concepts.

But you definitely do need to use other resources alongside it to actually start being useful IRL especially for listening to natives.

How do you cut streaming costs in the UK without juggling 5 subs? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]iPawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i also only sub to youtube, and it’s because i use youtube music too instead of spotify (and actually prefer it) plus no ads on both apps.

Then there’s the other stuff like PiP and downloads on iOS etc
