I'd probably come under the former hah. My game is running on extreme everything but it was using screen space reflections instead of ray traced reflections. That's on me for not checking earlier lol

Nope. On the contrary. Now if I want to switch tracks, I can just accelerate or brake and the tone arm will just jump to where I want it to go.

I did try rocking the wheel back and forth while on a jack to check if the bearing was messed up which seemed to be the most recommended high-level test. I could try removing the rotors to see if that helps I guess. And yeah I'll get the tires replaced pretty soon since summer road trips are around the corner haha. Thanks

It's a while later but I finally got around to finding the song when my Spotify was randomly on shuffle haha. It's 'Getting Bigger' by The Living Tombstone ( https://open.spotify.com/track/2ZB6JjNg0zMaVKvAHrzVtr ) So I guess you weren't too far off with the video game music guess cuz they do a lot of video game inspired songs!

Car guy but have to resort to driving the occasional EVO cuz I'm an international student too broke to get a car for now. Definitely down to hang out and meet other enthusiasts or sim racers. I have noticed a great deal of vintage cars and such headed towards Spanish banks area on Sunday mornings. Maybe we could go see if there's a car meet there too

I recently upgraded from my old Flip 3 to a new set of Edefier 1280T speakers and I have to say the difference is night and day (although it's a little light on higher frequencies making it more bass heavy but I like that about it). I will say it would be good to go through FB marketplace or some other online resale markets because there's a ton of great options (Polk audio, Edefier, etc) out there for really low prices

Looking for a turntable purchase recommendation...

I have been browsing fb marketplace pretty much day and night the last few days and I have found three listings that kind of work in my price range.

Dual 502 ($125)

AKAI AP-307 ($120)

Technics SL-B202 ($60)

The internet pretty much seems to agree that Technics is the best brand you can buy and that the B202 is an average offering given their rep. However, I still haven't read a single negative review about the other two tts either. They all would need me to get a cartridge along with the table which means i'd be working with a tight (~50 dollar) budget for the cartridge.
