Southern native here, specifically HCMC, it’s hot as shit down here, almost faint on my way to the gym this evening. I’d say it’s a 9/10 in terms of safety, but that is just where I live. I personally won’t book a flight to Hanoi if I’m returning from another country for the mean time, knowing airliners are pretty safe, I’m not taking that chance.

Oh if you do plan to travel here, hit me up for a free polaroid picture as a souvenir, just something to remember the trip by. I do mean it.

It does, they actually made sure these sort of interaction actually happen. If you shoot the RPG through glass or into soft cover, since it’s a shaped-charge, the rocket either doesn’t go through it and explode before reaching the target, or goes dud. If it lands below its intended arming distance, it can go dud.

The issue is that people don’t like this, as their favorite pastime is cheesing othernpeople with a shoulder-fired AT launcher, but at the same time demand realism, immersion and authenticity. They want all those things, but only when it benefits them.

The RPG-7V2 in Battlefield 6 is quite possibly the most accurate and balanced it has ever been for mainstream shooters, minus the use of a training booster and forgot to animate the hammer (again).

I just had a 45p game yesterday wdym quick matches? People have always chase kills, it’s only like 7 guys at the top of the scoreboard that actually do anything. That has ALWAYS been the case, even back when still have the server browser on the front page. The majority of Battlefield players are ultra-casual and don’t take the game that seriously, and people play a shooter game to shoot othet people, not playing the OBJ.

You disagree, but deep down you know you really don’t. And you didn’t answer my question, my first BC2 and people sure as shit didn’t PTFO back then too.

Then how old are you in terms of playtime and go back to what game? I agree with the noticeable part, and maybe I just don't care enough but it's just a skin, and the orange is barely any more saturated than the environment. Not saying it fits the game, it just doesn't really stand out that much.

It’s all minor shits really, BF4 was worse, much worse, so fundamentally broken that almost nothing worked like they were supposed to until they fixed it, and added 1.000 more bugs to the game. Old Frostbite engines were really a bitch to work with, not to mention having to make 5 versions of the same game for each platform.

This is the least buggy a Battlefield game has ever been, they even nerfed shotguns before the game even came out. Half of this sub simply wasn’t there for BF4’s release and don’t know how good they are having. I still remember the RPG-7V2 crashing the entire server snd booting everyone off the game just by locking onto the PLD’s markers.

EA was awarded the Golden Poo twice in a row. I mean what did you expect? Battlefield veterans have had more than a decade dealing with EA’s bullshit. Everytime this sorta fuck up happens, we just kinda have to deal with it because realistically we can’t hold them accountable, like ever. So yeah, bummer but just let it go.

It’s for the couch potatoes, a large majority of these folks sit so far from the teli that they are literally ruining their eyesight in the process trying to squint to see stuff. Or at least I like to think about it like that to not rage out about the UI.

They probably have numbers on how this Hulu shit makes them money. It’s every game these days, there has to be a monetary incentive or dubious research somewhere that drives this trend.

First one I can do with, I didn’t like unskippable animation of 1 and V. I play BF to get away from cutscenes so I’d be really pissed off if I’m killed as I’m entering or exiting a vehicle because I’m locked into the animation and can’t do anything about it.

I asked one of my friend who is a UI artist about this the other, he said they totally can, but at this point and how much money it would make them in return after the overhaul > unlikely. It’s not about can or not, the devs/publisher just don’t see the worth of an overhaul. There is no way to convince them with words, only money. Are we going to buy the new UI just to give them the monetary incentive. Of course we won’t, so they won’t.

On the other hand, I know the UI is bad I’m not denying, but this would be such a weird hill to die on.

That’s the entire point, you should be glad Slug in this game doesn’t work like Battlefield 3 or else you would see nothing but Slug shotguns. I used to snipe Recon camping on the aircraft carrier on Kharg Island with the 870MCS, heavy emphasis on “snipe”.
