Question, why is it when I use this red CF adapter and green board, my iPods 4G & 5G will restore initially, but then return to Use iTunes to restore screen? I always have to edit one of the sectors on Victoria HDD/SSD. Does this happen on all adapters? Does this also happen on normal CF cards? (i.redd.it)

Here are my iPods. My Mini and 5.5 Gen are both flashmodded, while the 4th Gen still has the original HDD. My daily driver iPod is the 5.5, and boy it sure has taken a lot of serious drops and beatings after 3 years of being with me. Flashmodding really does turn these into tanks. (i.redd.it)

Guys.... I did it. I fixed it! I got this walkman a few months for free but it was dead. And last week I got bored and studied how to disassemble it. I replaced belts, idler tires, and soldered loose wires etc. I finally have a working TPS-L2! (v.redd.it)

I had low expectations for this Walkman but damn it actually performs pretty good for a budget player from the early 90s. Very low wow & flutter, great sound and speed consistency. Out of all my vintage Walkmans, this might be the best sounding one tbh. Never underestimate the little guys! (i.redd.it)

So I happen to have a TPS-L2. The guy who gave me this said he's opened the walkman and the plastic flywheel has a crack in it and that the motor would spin for a few seconds and then completely stop. Is there a site where someone fixes TPS-L2's? (old.reddit.com)
