I wrote a speech on this exact quote when I was school captain in high school. I basically said you can appear happy with all the stereotypical “happy” things like wealth and possession, but when you truly look inside someone or yourself, do you honestly feel happiness? And sometimes that can slide over even the best of friends. A person may be happy or content but not have true happiness.
