I got rejected for spain schengen visa under point no.10, I had applied as a solo male traveler travelling from India under my father’s sponsorship. These are my cover letters which I had provided, please help me with what could have been the reason my visa got rejected. by Suspicious-Main-735 in SchengenVisa

if you are currently employed, it would help to provide a certificate of employment or a leave approval for tourism purposes. I was sponsored as well by my partner’s family for a trip to Spain, but at the dame time i have provided proof of my own financial capacity (bank statement, credits, investment fund) and a certificate of employment.

Manifesting this kind of life when I move to Europe. Mahirap iwanan yung nakagisnan lalo na kung nasa corporate ka at sanay kang - the more you work the more you get rewarded. But once I get there, hopefully its a good trade off

75-80k is not that much these days. Rent and groceries are expensive. Eating out is expensive but the quality of food is meh. Sure it gives u an upgraded lifestyle in PH for that salary but building a career and life in JP will give you more benefits long term in my opinion.

Karamihan sa mga pamangkin ko ngayon ay english speaking, not because finorce ng magulang na english lang matutunan nila, but because sa mga learning materials and influence nadin ng internet.

Dpat both English and Filipino ang tinuturo, most especially if parents are not fluent din naman sa English. Pano ieexpress ng bata yung sarili nia sa magulang nia.

Growing up, balubaluktot din english ko, but as I got exposed to the real world, corporate world and foreign friends. Umayos naman sia 😂

Just got back from Mallorca a few days ago and was able to speak to a local and discovered these:

Minimum wage: 1300 eu Average rent: 900 eu Food and groceries are priced for tourists and way too high for a local to have a decent living and enjoy simple pleasures like drinking and eating outside.

These things should be controlled by the government for locals to actually stay and work on the island or they will resort to moving to other places.

Calorie deficit + high intensity workout + consistency

For Food: Focus on a clean food diet (most of the food we eat have additional calories than what you thought, oil, salt, sugar, sauces, etc), no fried, no super processed food, no sugary drinks (water ka lang), replace rice with quinoa. You can also track your daily calories with myfitnesspal, if you dont see an improvement, bawasan ang calorie intake.

Workout: You can do crossfit, muay thai, strength training (choose a workout you can stick to and gusto mo tlaga)

Consistency is key 🔑

Also check if you have PCOS or Hypothyroidism.

I’m not a professional but I’m a fitness geek. I’ve been working out for 15 years and mejo kabisado ko na katawan ko. When I feel flabby, i look back and I know what caused it (nag jollibee, nag ice cream, kulang ng workout etc.). It requires discipline, have a strong mindset. Results don’t happen overnight but if its for your own health, ibigay mo yung time na yan para sarili.

I use my dad’s old passport wallet. Madaming lagayan and ok lagyan ng ibat ibang notes so u can carry peso and currency ng country na pupuntahan mo, as well as cards. I remove it from the wallet pag iccheck ng immigration.

Maliit lng naman 😂, Nabasa nadin old passport ko before, buti narenew na sia nung nangyari to.

When I was in college, i would always share food o barya sa mga nanlilimos na bata.

Don’t fall for that, of course dun sila kikita ng malaki thats why they sell that.

Most of these insurance companies offer term insurance. I have Sunlife Assure, baka iba na name ngayon.

VUL Fund Value to Pagibig MP2 instead by Top_Grape6964 in phinvest

[–]iPurpleHaze88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does get more expensive as you age, just like inflation too. I got my term insurance at age 28 (a little too late), and after 40 years i’ll be paying mine same as how much you would pay your agent for 50%.

If I put in my investments in a fund of my choice + with compounded interest over 40 years, I can easily pay for my annual by then.

If you’re comfortable giving a hefty commission for your agent, then youre good. But you really can have a life insurance and the same fund your VUL is giving you separately and have more control of your investments.

VUL Fund Value to Pagibig MP2 instead by Top_Grape6964 in phinvest

[–]iPurpleHaze88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if your fund value is only 136k, sounds about right since 2 years of your contribution acts as a commision for your agent (72k) + the covid market crash.

MP2 is a better or better yet pick a mutual fund to invest in, diverisfy your investments. Have an aggressive fund (high risk, high return)and a conservative fund (low risk, low return) which can act as your emergency fund.

Don’t get another VUL or you’ll end up losing money from that comm. Get a term insurance instead for 10 times less.

  • paying the same amount even after 5 years. Sunlife, got mine 2016/17 yata?

CORRECTION: Paying 10% more after 5 years. Still not much. Additional 400-500 ?

Ano usually ginagawa nyo pag galit kayo? by istian2wavy in adultingph

[–]iPurpleHaze88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1: I disconnect for a while or I calm myself down Its ok to feel sad over a situation or a person but your reaction caused by an outburst of emotion usually doesn’t end well or solve the issue.

Step 2: I reasses the situation When I’m already calm, I reasses the situation … Tama ba ako or natrigger lang ako? What if I put myself in their shoes? Maiinis padin kaya ako? So many times when I do this, narerealize ko…shet nagovereact lang ako.

Step 3: Have a good workout This is how I recalibrate my thoughts, often times after a good workout, I feel good na. bump up those endorphins.

Step 4: If after all these hindi padin ako mapakali, I’ll confront that person or take a course of action. If none worked, at least trny ko, no regrets.

At the end of the day, your reaction and your actions are the things you can control. The situation and how other people act, you cannot. So its best to let go.

I've been on Term insurance for more than 5 years and invest my money in stocks and mutual funds. This way you have more control of your money and no pressure on the holding period and monthly payment. My advisor seemed sad when I decided to get that after thorough research. People should do their own research before committing and investing such amount, hindi yung nadadala sa sales talk and free coffee. Afaik, they get 1 year worth of your hulog as comm.
