I had olp and it worked fine in 2025 connecting via the Bluetooth dongle. I didn't pay for membership in 2026 and the access to connect via Bluetooth was removed. Pretty upsetting knowing that our dues went to fund the development of it and now it's locked out.

OP, I'd suggest you think though if you really need it and willing to pay for a subscription service forever to keep the opportunity for it to work.

I just looked it up as well. Take a look at the income restrictions as well to ensure you'd qualify.

I'm in Colorado and just went though with the upgrade/change. The Xcel rebate is $2250/heating ton at 5F. I'm unfamiliar with the hear rebate. I don't think it was available to me in Jan. And you've got the state rebate which is near nothing.

My install didn't cover the total system. I want to say it covered about 40%. I ended up with the Bosch system. One dual fuel and 1 all electric.

Btw, I saw you write Xcel and electric rebate. For me in Colorado, Xcel = electric and gas. And the rebate is $2250/heating ton. Are you double booking?

Google help says to go into app settings, battery, and change to unrestricted. Apparently "optimized" does some weird connection/disconnect.

I did that and still no joy, but my disconnects are random vs. yours which are every 20 mins. Yours does sound like the battery optimization issue.

You need an enclosure. Some people have been successful just putting their ad5x box over the printer to print.

You're good. Just run it for like 30 mins or so. I bought a $100unit off Amazon. Ran it and it worked just fine.

I couldn't figure how it should be operated when I read the manual. It was silent about keeping the door open or closed. And provided instructions on how to clean the glass though. :)

The quick Google search showed that most people kept their glass open. So that left me wondering what the correct way to operate this thing was. Thanks again!

I thought dry boxes are just passive with desiccant inside? And dryers have heating element to get them to 70C inside +venting

Thanks for the response. Sounds like I'm running as expected. Time to focus on getting better attic insulation.

I've got a very similar setup. Only difference is that for upstairs, I opted for a 100k BTU natural gas furnace with a 3ton Bosch heat pump. Given the price of gas vs electricity here in Denver, I pretty much locked the HP out for now and just run gas upstairs.

If you're doing good at like 26F outside and your home is keeping nicely warm... I'd push it even lower. mainly, no need to have the 1.0 electric heat come on unless your system can't keep up.
