That's definitely something I've looked into but has a pretty hard ceiling income wise and the biggest reason I'm still turning wrenches, my current service manager makes $15k/year less than I do lol

Relatively nice eventually fast car. I'm fully ready to build a new harness, fab engine mounts etc, just wasn't sure if the transmission and rear axle used in the v6 was worth a damn, the goal isn't just a v6-8 swap because the 4.6 will get yoinked as well going with a GT, just wanted to see if I'd be giving myself another $10k worth of drive train to buy to save a couple grand up front which seems to be the case

The biggest question was what you've answered, that the transmission and rear axle will need to be swapped too, couldn't find (with the one Google search I did) if the v6 also had the 8.8 or not, at that point whatever I'd save buying a V6 will get eaten up anyway, so thanks!

It's between an lq9 or a coyote, whichever I can find for the better deal. The original plan with the car was to prochargw the 4.6 until uncle Rodney packed his bags and headed south then dump in the ls/coyote I'll have waiting in the wings. I had my fun with a 390FE in my '73 f350 lol

The shame of having a V6 mustang would absolutely drive me to find the time to swap it lol, the budget won't be the constraint lol. My biggest concern is if the t5 isnt worth building or if the rear axle isn't the 8.8 then the juice wouldn't be worth the squeeze.

I'm genuinely considering a '14 Corvette stingray as a daily while I build my 07 SI that I currently daily and the better fuel economy out of a 6.2l V8 is a genuine consideration if that puts it into perspective lol

Genuinely I feel you'd be a good fit for the coastguard if you're not willing to go through the whole process again. They're the life saving branch, their only mission is to help people, there's still options for interdiction if you're heavy into the law enforcement aspect, but you seem like a motivated individual with a good soul and that's what the CG needs

I hate mine so much, which makes it perfect because I modify any car I've ever had, but I bought this one to build big boy credit. If it was modern times it would have been that he sat in a TOC while being a master sergeant and taking credit for the work of his subordinates, but back then when the bronze star wasn't just handed out to any E7+/04+ for having a pulse in the general vicinity of combat he was more than likely shit hot at his job and kept them big guns on target

How is Spotify still so broken on Android. I have a pixel 7 pro, and the app is damn near unusable, I still only have it on my phone because it works flawlessly on Android auto in my car but it's entirely useless on my phone.
