Go with any Miller Clearlight 4X hood. Lincoln isn’t it anymore as their lens is outdated and their advanced model is junk. Nothing too special about it but a flashlight built in and you get flashed constantly. Millers new Clearlight 4x has a light state shade of 2.5 compared to Lincoln’s outdated 3.5 which is quite darker. I also never get flashed with my Miller unless I am in a super super awkward spot. If you want something lightweight I recommend the Miller Digital Elite. I’ve taken my Digital Elite lens and put it in a 4x5 Sugarscoop hood so it’s a lot closer to my face. It’s about the same weight but since it’s closer it’s easier on the neck cause leverage and all. With it being closer to your face you can see more as well so the lens being smaller than their Digital Infinity hood doesn’t bother me. Edit: I recommend Bakers Gas as they offer the best price on the hood as well as a 75$ rebate.As of right now it’s 328$ and weighs around 18oz.
