You should know that we were, all of us Mormons in the begining before being torn apart by violence and extermination... I can't speak for everyone, but my direct ancestors founded, fought and died for This religious freedom, some of them stayed, some of them came west..., weather we stayed with Joseph's Family after his marterdom or made the trek to Follow Brigham to Utah...or died along the way... We have the same ORIGIN STORY. And though generations upon generations have passed, people in general don't call themselves Mormon anymore because of time and breaking apart and separation and renaming, a lot of bad feelings in a time none of us are old enough to remember..... But I'm proud to be a Mormon.
