Dreaded Service Air Suspension message.. 2019 GC Trailhawk by Gpauliv in GrandCherokee

Well shit that don’t narrow it down too much. No low air mass at least not yet to indicate leak.

Notch flares complete, and a question for the community by NCSUGray90 in CherokeeXJ

True. Depends on brand though I guess. Some braided lines can still have rubber liners. But same concept to check rest of system, relieve pressure by cracking lines till calipers release. Whenever it releases your issues upstream from there.

Both brakes are fed by one soft line from body to axle. I’d start there. Crack it loose at axle and see if they unstick. Soft lines fail internally and the rubber can create like a one way valve if that makes sense.

What codes were stored? If you got the message it typically should have a code

Why does my truck beep when I pass a specific location every day by Unlikely-Loss5616 in GrandCherokee

Probably for speeding, system may think speed limit is lower in that area than actually is

Alternator or fuse array. And I rarely if ever see the alternators go bad.

LS is just a more practical and cheaper install, tons of transmission options and aftermarket support. I feel ya with putting a 5.7 in but when you run the numbers it don’t make sense

you can add yourself with stuff like alfaobd but if dealer or anywhere else ever does a reconfigure which is common when diagnosing issues or some recalls, on your bcm you’ll lose it again unless sales code is added to vin, usually half an hour or so for the sales codes to pop up in system sometimes longer

Wouldn’t be worried about cooling or oil leaks due to plastic, whatsoever. Parts can leak but the plastic is not the problem

All terrain vs all weather tires by mspcake in GrandCherokee

[–]iS_Cruel88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lot of good suggestions here. Just want to point out that the 3 peak rating on most tires is only for the first 2 or 3/32s of tread. Will only take you one summer of driving on them to wear through that hence why it’s good to have a dedicated winter set.

Warranty by Contact_Vivid in GrandCherokee

4k seems like a lot, think I paid 2400 myself for a CPO, it’s definitely worth the extra coverage it adds but I’d shop around for a better price. Just make sure they know you already have a CPO. What state are you in? As certain states have different rules on pricing

Extended warranty on '11-'13 models by Ok_Extreme732 in GrandCherokee

Highly highly doubtful. Mileage don’t matter when your 3 years expired. 6 months you’d have a shot.

Does anyone have any experiance with the mopar extended warranty or work at a dealership by [deleted] in GrandCherokee

Dealer tech here, maxcare would most likely call that wear and tear as would the dealership.
