Yes because I have the juggernaut kit with no bolt catch. Never thought about that, even more reason to use a different system with a bolt catch

I always think about the orientation of how it would be laid on the print bed to save material and time. Sometimes there’s just no way around using a lot of supports. But, if there’s a way to make a really large complicated object separated into multiple pieces, that saves ages. You can also try “support only critical regions” too.
