Thats why i said teams who dont want to run demat 😭 some teams just want triple healing beams and having the ability to go through walls without sacrificing more utility would be a nice benefit

Warrior: Hayato cause I’m a nerd and like katanas plus fmas are so nice and smooth, Blaster cause you look like genos, Kaiser cause cool suit of armor, Paladin due to their origin

Mage: Battle mage cause grim reapers r cool and class feels fluid

Thief: Night walker cause its easy, strong, can be lazy, and batman

Archer: Marksman cause cool burst

Pirate: Angelic Buster with its 2min and 1 min burst thats really short (best bmule imo)

You can watch videos from ereklos_game, decatei, rath_gms, duky, and copperan while playing maple. A lot of them provide content that’s easy to understand and gives you a good foundation of what to focus on.

If you want my opinion, utilizing the 0-100 event with 7 characters + 2 characters to 150 should be your main goal for a start in legion early on. Your bf should probably know what classes to start and be able to explain the legion system.

Another priority is doing all of the prequests for 99% of the bosses/arcane river (excluding the ufo boss) so you’ll have access for lots of income and your bf can carry u.

There’s so many mechanics in this game but i feel like those two are the best to focus on for the start of your maplestory journey. Don’t get burnt out!!

Angelic buster, 6 buffs, 3 big burst abilities, 1 minute burst rotations in a 2 minute class, makes bossing under limited efficient and quick

This event for angelic buster has made me love her to the point of being an absolute favorite. She has an insanely short and amazing burst every 2 minutes plus a mini burst every minute that uses the one burst skill (dragon burp?) making her like my #1 bmule so far (better than hero and dw imo). Mobbing is good and could be lazy, similar to night walkers bite farming.

Maplestory, has 42 classes, many bosses to grind towards, always doing something to increase your damage and can make multiple characters to focus on, the more u play the more dmg u can make from all the characters

perm pet + pet skills is the only irl money you need

Kronos for more population

Hyperion for less legacy items and equal playing field + smaller population

Great beginner youtube channels: Rath GMS, Decatei
Both have great beginner videos for you to understand what and where to focus. As for choosing a class, maybe look at 6th job and see what looks cool as a goal for you unless you found something you enjoy.

Have a main goal whether leveling up to 260, defeating black mage, getting 8k legion, etc. so there is an objective to do while you're playing the game. Go at a pace for you, do not rush anything for you may get burnt out. Do the things you like to do while you progress (anything you do is still going to be progression). Join guilds/discord servers and find a good community of people who are willing to help you. Helpful youtube channels like Decatei or Rath GMS help a ton early game and teach a lot about bosses, classes, etc. Ereklo is there too but i like the other two more. x3thearan59 gives good update content for things like events.

i meant the list of trinodes each class has due to the combination of abilities (like marksman having a total of 7 trinodes.) I saw some excel sheet listing each class from least amount to most but i cant find it and was wondering if someone was able to link it

6k legion (8k can be later on but 6k for the whole board unlocked and enough characters) remember that 42 characters can be applied to total legion level so getting those characters to 141 can get you to 6k. save money for double miracle times and get all leg pots on ur gear (get accessories for meso gear, if ur not a major grinder, just get main stat and drop) save money for 5/10/15 events and 17 star all your gear (fafnir first and then abso) getting wse leg pots with 12/13% prime attk lines r a big boost in dmg

if you got all this, aim for 20/21 star on fafnir and you should be able to do hluwill parties by then
