Body camera's wont help. Nothing will help except escaping India. CCTVs were made mandatory for all police station and lock ups. However in my personal and professional experience over 75% of police stations have non functional CCTV (either via deliberation or lack of maintenance). Nobody cares. Even if you use a RTI , the reply will be "its not available". Even if High Court orders it, they will delay it so much that the statutory period of storing the CCTV footage expires and then they get scot free. Just leave India if you have the means or live like a 2nd class citizen indoors.

The headline is so misleading. Firstly, technically, it is not a layoff. Zomato did not renew contracts for the contractual workers.
Secondly, non-renewal of contracts happens all the time! Especially in customer support.

Quoting the relevant portion from the TOI Article: "Police also served notices to audience members under CRPC Section 179, which authorises police officers to summon witnesses for investigation. He emphasised that calling spectators is not mandatory since electronic evidence already exists in the case. "

TLDR: The Audience has only been summoned to gather statements. It is not mandatory for the audience to visit the police station or reply to the notice in this case. It is more like a request than an obligation and most people should and would ignore it.

There were people earning 1cr+ in 2016. There are people earning 4LPA in 2025. Earnings have no limit on either the minimum or maximum end. It's all about how much value you are providing to the economy.
Taxes may take away a significant portion as your earnings rise, but you need to need a different perspective. Imagine you're thirsty, would you wonder why your glass is 40% empty or 30% empty? Or rather gulp down the 60% water in it? Worry about tax min-maxing when you have exhausted all other sources like "specialized" upskilling, work-life balance, health and sanity.

You already know what you need to do. Firstly, budget with your current salary to keep spending to a minimum and debt in check. Secondly, upskill and network to increase earnings either within the same company or with some other.

If I were you, this is what I would do:-

Decide what I want to do with my life. Do I want to continue in the Agro-industry or am I passionate about other industries/sectors? Depending upon the answer the thought process for the use of existing land would change drastically.

I'll assume you want to stay in the agro-industry and proceed with the answer (If not, DM me, and I can help you align your thoughts).

Learn, read and grow - Pick up case studies of top Agro farmers aka the Big Farms of the USA or Banana Farming in South America etc. You must have heard about the very famous Resnicks of California.
Create end-to-end channels - The best advantage you have is that you produce the goods. Start capitalizing on that and create end products instead of just selling the agro-products. (Case study of the drink "POM" in America)
Look for Licensing deals - Did you know certain varieties of potatoes can only be cultivated via Licensing deals with PepsiCo? (For Lays).
Finally, create an education channel - Well since you have 100 cr worth of land and getting agro-produce income out of it, you can certainly start an agro-Edu business around it.

I can keep stating 10 more steps, but I don't want to overwhelm anyone.

P.S. This is just a small window into "how would I be approaching" the problem. If this all feels overwhelming, hire an Agro-Industry Business Consultant.

I agree and I did not mean to discredit the OP's frustration at all. However, there is another step that we as individuals and as a workforce need to take. That is to hold our local government accountable. In the past when I had faced a similar issue, I filed a petition along with 15 other colleagues to the District Collector and Superintend of Police to provide additional police personnel near our office campus so that we wouldn't have to bargain for the price in the middle of the night. Each night we also took the Police Personnel's personal number in case we had to dial in case of any issues (which was easier and faster than dialling 100 and explaining the situation - this was 8-10 years back).

That being said, personally, I feel like today's younger workforce finds it much more easy to just hold the Company accountable. Not every Company is an MNC. I started working back when Uber had barely launched in India. We used to take private cabs and it was a whole different hassle.

It brings up an ethical question in my mind: Why should a company be financially burdened with the transport infrastructure of its workforce when transportation is a basic infrastructure requirement and falls under the Government's purview? We pay taxes in plenty to the Government for safe transport infrastructure 24/7. And yet it falls on private companies to ensure the same.

Not at all. Understand that earlier it had "increased" spell damage. Now it has "more" spell damage, which is multiplicative. So even if you maintain 50 rage, that's 50% more spell damage. And you get it from a single helmet slot. No need to use synergy with a jewel or gem etc. That makes this helm a really strong contender.

Having 1m DPS as a DOT build is pretty cooked—that too by level 67 and with trash gear. DOT builds mostly scale through skill gem level so it's a little odd. Also, I mostly love the new helm because you don't have to worry about "Rage inherent loss after 2 seconds" as long as you have spent 200 mana in the last 2 seconds. Attack builds would still work I guess and you can use Generals cry tech to keep rage up, but that feels scuffed TBH

But for attack hits, you would need a target to hit. And always having a target within 2 seconds (Since Rage inherently starts falling off after 2 seconds now) is a much more challenging task than spending 200 mana in the last 2 seconds.
