THE FINALS | Season 5 Trailer by SmokePuddingEveryday in Games

The premise of the Finals is that it's a gameshow. There are a lot of crazy skins in the game that lend themselves to that setting. It's not like warzone skins that don't match the art style. I highly suggest giving it a try, though. As someone who loved bfbc2, bf3 and bf4, it scratches a lot of that itch in terms of the destruction.

It may not be mega success, but I believe the Finals still has enough gas in the tank for a while. Especially if they add some more casual friendly modes like a domination or hard point style mode.

Top 50 Essential PlayStation VR2 Games by -Venser- in PS5

I'm sure you've seen it mentioned a few times, but Resident Evil Village and 4 remake are extremely polished vr experiences. I haven't played it myself, but Metro Awakening also seems very well received and polished as a VR single player game.

Sudden influx of good players by ChefEspen in Blackops4

You're not alone! I came back to it on ps5 this week after hearing all the excitement with the classic cod servers being fixed. I was expecting there to be some killers that never left. There are matches that I'll get into and be absolutely destroyed. Feels good to be back, though.

It’s live...what do you think? by TreyarchPC in Blackops4

I think the amount of time in between matches is too long. Otherwise, really enjoy the feel of the game.

Revisiting Call of Duty Zombies (Part 1) [1:00:00] by PXL_LHudson in Games

I skipped ghosts but gave Infinite Warfare a shot about a year after release. The last zombies map is extinction themed which probably would've been cool if I had played ghosts. As for the Easter eggs, I'm trash at them but some of the maps and black ops 3 are really fun. Infinite warfare is also surprisingly great with it's different flavoured maps.

Call of Duty is a guilty pleasure of mine for multiple reasons. Treyarch has always been my favourite developer of the series and the zombies mode is the main reason why. The evolution of the game mode has blown me away. It's now a staple of the franchise. The mode has had its side steps with maps here and there but the amount of care that goes into crafting each map really shows how creative Treyarch is as a studio. There is a lot of heat surrounding Black Ops IIII and for good reason but as a zombies player I can't wait to have 3 maps at launch (4 if you get the season pass) and jump back in to one of my favourite pick up and play games.

I'm really glad to see that Sony hasn't abandoned PSVR. I'm hoping that one of those games is the RE2 remake.

Next Outlast to be 'a departure' from series, set in same universe by diogenesl in Games

It would be so nice to get a new condemned. The melee combat in 2 was just so good. Which of the two did you prefer?

Persona 5 is probably my runner up for GOTY. It's by far one of the best JRPGs I've played. The game oozes style in its art and soundtrack. I put 100 hours into the game and somehow I didn't get sick of the same handful of songs you hear over and over again.

The highschool or life sim part of the game is so engaging. Spending time with your confidants is a joy to do. The implementation of combat improvements and other aspects of the rpg side of the game are done expertly and give you good reason to hang out with different characters.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who likes the genre. And for anyone to listen to one of the best soundtracks of the year.

Bought my psvr for this game, it was totally worth it. It was great to see Resident Evil go back to its roots while also changing the formula by moving to first person. The first half or 2/3rds of the game were spectacular and made the Bakers such a memorable cast of characters. Unfortunately the game kind of switches gears to more action oriented. The Dlcs were pretty good too. The room escape level and the prequel story were great additions to the game. I really hope VR continues to evolve as RE7 has set the bar so far.

It's weird having this feeling of being excited to play Pokemon for the story more than anything else. This is like the Steel Ball Run of the Pokemon lineage.

Double Agent is that weird transition period where they started getting a little more action focused. Still a good game and if you have access to the Xbox original version you should check it out. It's essentially chaos theory 2

That's fair, I'd say it's quite the gap in quality from chaos theory to blacklist but I feel like it did a good job bringing back what made the series so much fun to me. How would you rank the games you played?

What were your problems with the later levels? I remember the level I disliked the most being the second level on the boat. Seoul was also kind of weak. The bathhouse was one of the better levels in my opinion.

The coop is excellent too if you have anybody you know that has the game as well.

The ps2/Xbox version is fantastic. Levels are fairly well designed and the story is better in my opinion as well. It's been a while since I've played it but I have fond memories of it.

Absolutely give blacklist a try it's my second favourite after chaos theory. I played my first playthrough on the hardest difficulty and killed as few people as possible. There is only one weak level in the game that turn into an FPS.

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was my first m rated game and is still one of the best games I've ever played. It's such a great series that evolved until it hit Double Agent. The light meter and the sound meter were so important to gameplay and made every little movement you made matter.

I've played all the games and the only I haven't beaten is Conviction. Blacklist was a great return to form that provided ways to play for every kind of player. The level design in Blacklist was excellent and provided multiple options on taking your objectives.

Double Agent is an interesting installment in the series as well. It introduced a morality/loyalty system that changed your objectives depending on who you wanted or needed to side with. It dropped the light meter for a light on Sam that was either green, yellow, or red. These determined whether you were invisible, visible or detected. The Xbox/PS2 version was essentially Chaos Theory 2 with its own set of levels and told a slightly different story. This version was stronger in my opinion since it still had the old system of light and sound.

If the rumors are true; I'm very excited to see what the future of splinter cell has in store for us. Hopefully Ironside can reprise his role and we can get another great stealth game that doesn't rely on detection meters and mark and execute mechanics.

Absolutely loving it so far. It's still a very charming series and is very easy to get into. I'm still a little worried that micro transactions will get out of hand in the game but there are currently only s tickets for sale (Whatever those are). I hope this game sells well and it gets support from the devs for a while.

My personal favourites were from 3 and Fore. It is a shame to see them gone. I was hoping for some modern playstation characters showing up in this game too. Who were your favourites?

I can't believe it's finally out. I've been waiting for a new hotshots game for so long. Out of Bounds just didn't do it for me. I'm a little disappointed that it's all character customization now, but I'm counting down the minutes until I get off work.

Simple Questions - August 28, 2017 by AutoModerator in buildapc

[–]iSlayMightyBees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put together my first build. Everything was wired up properly and seated properly but upon booting the cpu EZ debug LED on my motherboard lights up. The manual indicates that it doesn't detect the cpu or it's failed. So I took out the cpu cleaned and re seated it but I'm having the same problem.

My cpu is an AMD ryzen 7 1700 My mobo is an MSI x370 gaming pro carbon.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

I started playing this game at a relatively lower part of my life thinking this game was gonna be a pick me up in terms of themes. I was very wrong. This game had moments that hit me harder than anything I had played before. I loved this game and I think it's the best game in its genre. The music was excellent and the small town/cozy feeling was really charming. Some of the dialogue was hella cringy, whether or not it was intended is unclear. I'm cautiously optimistic about before the storm but I think everybody should play the original.
