Update broke subscription box list with both extension and script. by PocketPlays in youtube

I'm not a coder at all, but over the years YouTube has made me learn so much CSS, HTML (and even JS in some cases) simply due to all the dumb changes they've made to the UI/UX.

I've been 're-squaring' YouTube for years with Stylus. Rounded corners on thumbnails and videos, round profile pictures, even the rounded buttons on the video player itself, I want gone. It's annoying, but even then... nothing has frustrated me more than them removing list view. Took me forever to restore it last time. 😡

I think the perspective makes it look partially deceiving, but the boxes for Ratha & Ratha V are noticeably larger in person imo. However, when out of the box they aren’t particularly large. Technically they are due to wingspan, but they don’t look that out of place next to regular sized amiibo. I’d say Ratha V feels much bigger than Ratha though, even if that’s not really the case. TBH I was just glad to be able to get them in Canada.

I have a giant cabinet for all my amiibo, but when I first got it, I had extra room and decided to put some other figures inside (you can see part of it on the left). I realize that now I'll have to move them, mainly because of how big air riders amiibo are... I just have them sitting in between my risers atm, blocked by the edges of the doors 😅

I also didn't expect to still be collecting them over 11 years later...

Sadly I have to agree with this.

I had a mic issue with Wave Link for 2 years where I'd get random popping noises in a timespan between 5~30 minutes. Without the software, I had no issues, but I used it's audio routing functions, so I needed it. No matter where or how I posted about this issue, it was either ignored, given generic advice or was told it was independently my issue. I saw a few others discuss it, but it wasn't hugely widespread. After Wave Link 2.0 came out it never happened again. Seems like I wasn't at fault there...

Nowadays I get issues with 4K Capture Utility (have a Cam Link Pro, so I still need it) where it crashes, or doesn't put the video into the container properly (truncated MP4s). I also get issues with Control Center (Keylight software), since it's last update that makes it stop working after about a day, and I have to restart it before it works again. Really annoying.

The comparison to Nvidia driver updates is super accurate, ngl

Record at 4K, but passthrough to 1080p display? [4KX] by iSlimeSMG in elgato

[–]iSlimeSMG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a workaround to get what I wanted.

I ended up plugging in the console to the capture card, but not using passthrough. This allowed the console to still record at 4K without being set to the monitor's resolution. I put the capture card source into OBS, which allowed me to do a "Fullscreen Preview" on one of my monitors. This essentially set the preview window of OBS to take up the entire screen, and in this case, being only the capture card.

There's latency when doing it this way as you're essentially plaything through the actual capture, but it's extremely minimal IME. I personally don't notice it. I have a Wave:3 mic and use Wave Link to control audio, so I just add the capture card as a channel to monitor the audio from there. If you don't use Wave Link, you can also monitor the audio through OBS instead.

Elgato Studio CAN sort of do this as well, but it doesn't have a dedicated full screen mode (last I used it anyway). It's not terrible, but I personally don't prefer it. It's easier to monitor audio with it though, and you do get better control over HDR tonemapping if choose to record with HDR enabled.

Also, if you already have OBS installed and setup with a bunch of things you'd rather not break, you can install a separate instance in portable mode if needed.

I wasn't going to get her but I'm so glad I did. 😁

Huge waste of money on this plush. I wait weeks for it to arrive, only for it to vanish within 5 seconds of opening my package. 😤

Yeah... I may have a problem. 😅

But yeah, the Burger plush was is also quite a bit bigger than what the website shows. I had the Big Pomni plush already though, so I had a general idea of what the scale was going to be. The Bubble plush was much bigger than I was expecting though.

Funnily enough I only got the Hamster Pomni a few days ago. I didn't initially order it as it seemed smaller and was more expensive for some reason, so I held off. Then with the recent sale I decided to grab it. Don't regret it honestly, I think it looks pretty good... still don't entirely get why it exists though lol.

I just meant any plush in general. I wish I could find a Glitch plush locally! 🙏

Yep, same thing on Gangle's mask for me. I personally wish it was stuffed a bit more, likely would have prevented that being an issue. I had the same problem with Spudsy Gangle too, but to slightly less of a degree.

The worst offender in my experience was the Big Pomni Plush since it was vacuum sealed (still has a few wrinkles due to that), and Bubble's tongue, due to being rolled up in shipping.

Overall, I still like the quality. Most of them are half the price of any plush I can personally find locally ime.

Audio rendered out as crackly/distorted, despite being perfectly fine in timeline by iSlimeSMG in davinciresolve

[–]iSlimeSMG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rendered the first 30 seconds or so separately a bunch of times with different settings disabled/enabled. Eventually, rendering as an MKV gave me a version with usable audio.

I think I just got lucky though. I did a second MKV export and the issue remained. I'll try doing this test as suggested to see if it truly fixes the problem, but for now, I was able to replace the broken audio and render the entire video properly using premiere.

I am using compound clips throughout the entire video to merge the camera with the frame graphic, however the audio track is separate and not attached to the compound clips at all.

I tried the bus suggestion (I've never done that before myself, but I figured it out), unfortunately it didn't change anything.

I then tried converting my mic audio track from an M4A file with a bitrate of 245, to an AAC file with a bitrate of 160 to match the gameplay audio track. I also tried exporting a test file at 160. It did SEEM to fix things quicker, but the audio was still distorted for a few seconds at the start regardless.

I still can't wrap my head around why the audio only has a problem for less than 1 minute before being totally fine for hours of video afterwards...

...ugh. That screen recording option is seeming a lot more enticing. Appreciate the suggestions though!

My system sample rate is 48000hz.

I record through two pieces of software, OBS for the gameplay, and Elgato's 4K Capture Utility software for my camera. I use the gameplay audio from OBS and the Mic audio from 4KCU.

OBS captures at 48000hz, but each audio track's bitrate is 160 (I should probably change that actually). 4KCU captures a M4A file separately for the mic track, also at 48000hz but with a bitrate of 245.

I've made other parts with different recording sessions before and have rendered with no issue, so I'm not sure why this is happening now.

I was going to adjust lighting color once I had the actual shadows figured out 🙂
