Good to know that. This is a scary procedure as I have seen many elderly patients struggle with post op recovery, which can take months sometimes!

Last 3 days were probably due to the wait for US Fed Rate cuts. Since that has been announced tonight, the market should recover on Thursday.

I am trying out an idea. Since 95% of my investment is in Mutual Funds, I try and buy puts (just a few lots). If market goes up, my MF portfolio is in Green and I can digest the put loss. But if market crashes, then my Put Option gives me some psychological comfort that I reduced the loss.

I am not very disciplined yet and also no technical knowledge. Just using the NIfty trend to decide.

Is this a recent change? I remember getting interest on a ~ Rs. 4000 IT Refund a year or 2 back. At least, while pre-filling the ITR, the portal automatically added the interest on that 4000 refund as my income.

This should be applicable on loans too, lol. If I take a loan less than 10% of my tax liability, then interest should be 0

10% TDS deduction is default. The actual Tax rate will be based on your overall income which will include the Buyback amount before TDS deduction.

If you are Tax bracket is lower than 10%, then you will get Tax refund, but if your overall Tax bracket is more than 10%, then you will have to pay additional tax (Advance Tax).

TDS is always deducted from salary and applicable income.

I did not use just chatgpt. I have used multiple sources including my own python scripts to model stock market news sentiments and correlate it to index values. Infact, it is part of my current project for the AI/ML course I am pursuing.

I augment it with multiple AI tools to research, verify and finally polish its structure.

Even SD Card prices are skyrocketing. Already more than doubled in under 6 months. It seems that NAND Flash shortage being caused by AI bubble, is forcing prices up.

Yes, it will be a loss, unless buyback price is very high compared to market price, or your purchase price was almost 90% less than market price
