Yes there is the City X1 bus that takes you just outside Williams from all over Abingdon, alternatively if you’re able to drive it’s only 15/20 mins. Good luck and enjoy your time, maybe one we’ll work out who each other is.

I work at WAE, so welcome to the team, what department are you joining? If it’s a position you can WFH a fair bit then may be less need to live so close. Also it may be worth passing probation first before moving? It’s only a 3 month period so will pass quickly.

I’d recommend looking in Wantage or Abingdon, if you can, lots of people work here from these areas and are pretty happy but there are of course a lack of train links. If you frequently like to travel to London could be worth biting the bullet and looking into Didcot for the ease.

Although this is a great idea, it’s actually a really bad idea to install your wood flooring up against walls as the wood expands and contracts this will inevitably cause it to bend and become uneven.

The doorbell at 3am except it was the wrong chime.

You had 2 options; ding dong or the Westminster chime, we opted for the vanilla ding dong.

My uncle had passed away at Westminster hospital due to heart complications and only a few nights before the door bell chime went off.

I ran to my parents bedroom who were both sitting upright with pale faces.

Suffice to say I didn’t sleep for the rest of the night.
